Parador de la Granja

A very lovely location and we had a very comfortable superior room
We were very close to the royal gardens and the royal palace also the wonderful Fabrica de Cristales.

We were only in town for two nights and we ate there two of the nights. Everything was delicious. On the second night the entercot was good but the cut of meat was not as good as the first night.

They do charge for bread so if you don't want to pay don't order the bread.

Beautifully restored, elegant building in the centre of the town, the rooms are massive and quiet. The restaurant is out of this world, abit on the pricier side compared to other establishments in the town, but worth every penny. The hotel and restaurant staff deliver an excellent service are both courteous and professional and always willing to help.

I love the Parador brands. This location in La Granja is a perfect example. A repurposed building sitting practically at the foot of the palace entrance with amazing architecture, the rooms are spacious and well organized. The beds deliver a lovely sleep. The mountain air only adds to the experience.

The Paradores network of unique hotels in Spain are consistently fantastic, and it is no different here at the hotel in La Granja. The room is great and the hotel is excellently located. We did not eat dinner here as there are plenty of other places with more charm to eat close by. We did have the breakfast buffet, it is really good and the service is friendly. We would go back or recommend this place.

We really enjoyed this Parador. The staff were were generally excellent - apart from a grumpy waiter at breakfast.

The decor is superb. A very modern twist in a stunning old building.

Parking is a bit suspect but we were able to park in the street. The downside to that is that we ciukdv’t find the entrance when we arrived (8pm - pouring with rain etc). This Parador is massive - it’s not easy to find your way around. Really beautiful though

I spent three nights at this great hotel. It is situated in the previous royal estate for the royal family when on summer hiday. The integration is done very well and with respect to the original architecture.

The rooms are spacious and functional. The only things I would change is that the room is very dark when coming in and the toilet is somewhat low on space for taller people. Be careful not to burn your leg on the heating element. Also the TV does not have many international programs but you find cnbc and BBC world.

The breakfast buffet is very rich and offers something for everyone.

If I should come back to la granja, I shall stay in this hotel again.

The Parador is located in a wonderful place in Segovia, where one's surrounded by beauty and peace. The Parador has accomplished to seemlessly fuse modernity and its historical backbone. The services provided are quite adequate and the staff is to be commended: very nice and helpful. The rooms are big enough, sunny and clean. Ensuite bathroom is big, spotlessly clean, where we can find a phone (same as near the bed) as well as the typical amenities. There's a tub where we have access to shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. We have also access to skin lotion near the sink. I'll most assuredly go back and would recommend it to everyone.

Excellent customer service. Excellent Location. Loved breakfast best in Paradores so far, loved bar, facilities, "library"space is a great place to spend sometime reading or talking.

Magnificent experience. Food is exceptional. Cochinillo is a must. Judiones is a tradition.

Paradores are my new thing haha. This was fantastic. If you are willing to pay the price to live in an extremely neat place, then you are going to thoroughly enjoy this. The city itself is super super cool. The gardens are well worth the visit.

Had a lovely stay here to celebrate my 60th birthday. Wonderful area with lots to explore nearby.

The building had lots of character and our meal was delicious, the cheese platter was to die for. A lovely atmosphere.

Excellent hotel. Very accommodating staff. The adjoining restaurant is quite nice. Worth staying over for longer vacations.

Incredible service.....lunch here is like moving into another dimension....time stops when you begin with an appertif of gin ...starter of zamburiñas and mixed salad....second course, turbot on a bed of squid cooked in ink...and a wonderful Rioja....Let's begin the New Year the way it should continue!!

The Parador at La Granja is a great place to have a special meal with friends or family. We visited the resturant after visiting the palace and gardens. A special place with special regional foods.

Beautiful place. People are very nice and the food excellent . Well located, parking 2min walk.
