I cycled a long distance (from Alicante to Javea) with a 10 lb rucksack on my back. I already have neck issues so this ride caused me considerable pain.
Fortunately I managed to find Clive of Massage Remedies Javea.
My experience was 100% positive. From the initial contact through to the actual treatment.
Clive arrived on time, assessed me, advised me, treated me and instructed me on how to care for my neck going forward.
He was utterly professional and I cannot recommend his services enough.

I can't recommend Clive highly enough. I have had ongoing back issues for 3 years. Consequently I have lots of fear around exercising even though I know that need to exercise, I don't, I worry [ understatement ] that I will injure my back and my knee [ on going history on injuries ]. Anyway, while on holiday in Javea for 4 weeks I found Clive [ good old google ]. I saw Clive and immediately I felt cared for and listened to. His massage is totally holistic. He focused on my aches and pains and surprised me on other areas of referred pain. Clive spent time talking me through what he was doing. He offered me nutritional advice and "Home Work". He ex[plained the importance of doing the stretches/exercises each day. Following my first session my shoulders and neck felt relaxed and much more freely moving. I saw Clive regularly during my 4 weeks. If I could wrap him up and his lovely wife Dee and bring them to Scotland I would. As a result of his nurture, care and amazing massage, he has given me confidence in my body and I now trust that I can indeed exercise which will help my back etc. Since returning home, I have booked Personal Trainer sessions, booked and attended exercise classes and feel empowered, determined and motivated to continue to help improve my mobility and flexibility. I wouldn't be doing this without Clive and Dee's encouragement and holistic approach to healing the body. My back still has a way to go, however, I have realised that its down to "team work", Clive not only did the manual / physical manipulations and the nutritional advise / stretch routines, he also empowered me to help myself. He gave me belief and trust in my body. Thank you Clive. My back is feeling more supple and flexible and I feel energised and focused on my rehab as well as looking for preventive measures that I can take to help me and my over all quality of life. And the wee bonus ...my golf has improved I'm hitting the ball straighter and further than I have ever done..yeah...now I just have to get out of bunkers :) . Anyway, Clive is awesome. I'm looking forward to going back to Javea next year and I'll be booking in my sessions with Clive for a wee Top Up and MOT for wellness.
