As usual with Paradores service is perfect. The location is excellent, located 3 minutes from Plaza Cervantes and the main University Building.
Installed in an old building ( Old Santo Tomas College), the interior is new with a quite modern touch.
The Parking is big and roomy, and very welcomed as in the whole area there is no street parking (Follow the instructions on how to get to the parking as they will provide you when making the reservation - If you get to the main entrance is too late)
Great restaurant as in most Paradores, but you also have plenty of restaurant close by.
Only complain the rooms lighting system us kind of weird as tend to turn on and off most of the lights in the room, and the temperature was too hot in our room and AC didn´t help (It seem was only on heat mode)
Overall a great experience

This is a very lovely parador in a historic building, but completely renovated, so it’s a combination of old and modern architecture. It is a large hotel, that hosts events and welcomes hotel guests. It also has a very nice spa that is situated in the old chapel, but has a very futuristic interior. The restaurant has some vegan options, but the vegan options for breakfast are very limited, with no plant-based yoghurt or milk available. The staff of the hotel is wonderful, and very professional. Too bad they cannot accept any tips when using a bank card.

An amazing experience!
The hotel, the spa,
and the restaurant ( with plenty vegetarian options 🌱) are a must visit.

It was really special, we loved it. Unfortunately we have spent only one night, but if it was for us would have stayed longer. Alcala is a kind small city, good food, nice weather. Everything perfect

This hotel is excellent.
In a redesigned historical building in a beautiful part of the city it's well worth staying.
Known for its spa and pool this place is an excellent spot to visit. The dinner here is extra excellent and high quality as Paradores are known for. The service excellent and enthusiastic.
Everything is spotless and clean and the hotel offers full service and large rooms

The only star i could remove was for the strange lack of electrical outlets in the room or bedside. Forcing you to charge your phone away from the bedside.
Other than that a perfect stay.
Highly recommended.

After the disappointment at the Parador Cuenca, we improved our day with lunch at the Parador Alcalá de Henares restaurant. Classy surroundings, excellent cuisine and absolutely wonderful and professional service. The staff at the hotel reception and in the bar also deserve praise.

Super nice vintage looking hotel. The stay was amazing and absolutely comfortable. The check in and check out process was very smooth. The staff is very professional.the breakfast is served in a ice open area and all the items were fresh and nice. The location is surrounded by nice local markets and lots of shops to buy souvenirs.

Paradores atte a delight. Great experience from check in to check out. The breakfast is superb and the rooms big and modern within an historical building. For great deals you can also get 5 nights vouchers. The swimming pool was also a great add on since it was really hot. Located centrally you can visit the main attractions within walking distance and enjoy loads of bars and restaurants in the city centre.

Just simply a beautiful place with a massive amount of history. This magnificent building of the 17th century was an old convent-school of the Dominican Order of St Thomas.
Today it is living up to its reputation as a fabulous hotel with all the mod cons and such friendly, efficient and well organised management and staff. Thanks guys, we were totally spoiled!!!🙏🙏😍😍❤❤

The Parador here is a beautiful and historic building set back from a quiet street in Alcala. It is only a few minutes from the Main square/street where you will find all the bars & restaurants.

The lobby and halls will make you feel as though you are in a Museum.

The room was nice & functional and photos you find online will likely not do them any justice.

Unfortunately the pool was closed on our visit in May, with it opening the first week of June.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I attended a professional event and we needed the meeting room to make the presentation. The hotel has a lot of facilities and it's normal to find in work days a lot of enterprises using the meeting rooms to make business. At night the room is quite warm with stable temperature and humidity. You also has enough surface to enjoy the room, a shower and a bath with nice sights to the garden. The next day you can have self-service breakfast from almost all different kind of food. I strongly recommend this hotel for social and professional events.

Wonderful hotel and restaurant. The building beautifully integrates a 17-th century convent into a ultra-modern hotel. Upon arrival, they upgraded us for free to a superior bedroom. It was truly fantastic: as big as a flat, quiet and elegantly decorated (see video). The furniture shows slight, but hardly noticeable, signs of usage—no big deal. We would have loved to use the hotel's spa (€30 per person), but unfortunately it was booked out. The staff were nice and helpful. They applied the anti-covid hygiene measures with great care. We felt very safe during our stay.

If you have lunch in the Parador's on-site restaurant ("Santo Tomás") on the day of departure, you can ask for your check-out to be extended until 6pm at no cost. The restaurant serves high-quality traditional cuisine. It's among the best places in Álcala to try migas, cochinillo and other regional specialties. Expect to pay around €35 per person (more with wine). While expensive, the Parador's luxurious services are well worth their price.

Amazing place to enjoy a well cooked and imaginative food. All options from the menu are amazing. Really difficult to choose one. We decided to try the menu with entree and main course. Apart from this they provide with bread and olive oil for dipping and an appetizer that was spectacular. Desserts are to die for. Price above the average but really good value for money. The only "but" was a rather slow service. Take your time and relax.

It's an amazing renovated historic place, the staff is super helpful and polite. They'll go above and beyond to help you out.
The rooms are exquisite and wonderful however the lighting system very wack and somehow depends on settings on your room card, the only guy who knows how it works was the one who set it up its imo the only inconvenience of the hotel. In some they offer you Alcalá almonds which are a local treat and a nice one to have to yourself.
It has also an amazing coffee hall and bar where outsiders can come enjoy a nice drink with a relaxing atmosphere.
You'll notice that the building only has two floors and that's because of the rules of Alcalá. A city that is older than Madrid (roman presence).

All in all 5/5 you should stay there

Absolutely incredible hotel! Spacious, quite rooms with lots of design elements and automations. Refrigerator and wardrobe smartly hidden. The hotel is scattered in a large area and encompasses old building that is transformed into meeting rooms.

I really enjoy this Hotel since the first time I visited the city. A modern and well designed Hotel with big and beautiful rooms at a ver descent price. The service overall is very good and they offer a lot of space in case you need to bring an event on with plenty of conference rooms. The only down side was the restaurant for lunch. I had like another 6 people with you and they told us they were completely booked for lunch as results only 5 could have lunch, after 1h and 30 min of lunch the restaurant was still empty so i don't understand why they did not allow the bigger group to join, very disappointing.
