One of three archaeological museums in the area. On itself a trip throughout the ages, from Prehistory till the late 17th Century. The Renaissance building that contains it, with its frescoes in the domes, is a work of art on its own right.

It offers didactic activities for children and adults alike, and truly remarkable temporary exhibitions in its patio every now and then.

This was a fantastic little museum that had some great prehistoric and historic information. Doesn't take long to go through but definitely worth it. Great staff working there too.

The entry is free. The experience is as good as any paid entry would have been. Audiovisual aide makes the experience even more enjoyable. Of all the museums that I have visited, this is the most child friendly.

Nice displays, including artifacts of the key eras of development in the region with good explanatory materials. Most in Spanish with some English translations. Worth visiting just for the mosaics.

The admission is free. As is the tour, which is well presented, though only in Castellano. And the well-created exhibits cover pre-historic to modern Spain.
