We would (and regularly do) recommend Karen, Paul and the Casa y Campo team without any hesitation whatsoever. We have recently bought through them after viewing several properties with them and other agencies and we couldn't be happier.

They are down to earth, super knowledgeable about Spanish property buying and have an incredibly broad range of homes on their books. Above all, they're friendly, beyond helpful and we trust them.

They make a daunting process easy and will also hook you up with (independent) others to help with the legal process etc - Or whatever else you might need.

Since buying through them, we've chosen to use an additional service that they offer to help with renovations etc - Essentially sourcing, pricing and then making the work happen (for a very reasonable fee). What would definitely have taken a long time and carried significant risk and stress for us (and I know this to be true for others), just hasn't! Particularly as we're not (yet) fluent or living in the area.

We are SUPER grateful to them and their team and are very excited about spending more time in our lovely wee new home. Bring it on! 🙂

Foolhardy, naive or just plain stupid! These are some of the comments we heard from friends and colleagues for purchasing a property virtually, in a foreign country and during a pandemic. Perfectly understandable really. Nevertheless, not once did we feel vulnerable, unsure or regretful during and after purchase which was mainly due to the service offered by Karen and Paul at Casa y Campo. Karen was, and still is always at hand to answer any questions or queries One might have.

We were aware that our property would need repairs and renovations and so we asked Karen to project manage such works using her own contact who has delivered excellent results. Furthermore, Karen purposely paired us together with a solicitor who was familiar with our new property and also with the legal challenges that accompanied it.

Karen’s own sense of duty and loyalty to her clients also remains after completion of purchase and has been extremely helpful and accommodating in preparing for our arrivals by arranging services such as cleaners and the delivery of firewood, to name but two.

Casa y Campo has been an absolute pillar of support and did undoubtedly offer us the trust and reassurance needed to proceed with our so-called foolhardy virtual purchase. We highly recommend working with Karen @ Casa y Campo.

We purchased our home through Casa y Campo and I cannot recommend them enough.
Karen has great local knowledge and is extremely helpful, no question is too daft, and believe me I asked a few !
We were still in the UK whilst the purchase process went through, Karen and Paul Project managed the work that we wanted doing to our new home, they really did just take over everything so that when we returned the house was ready for us to move into. We were kept updated all along the way with quotes, paint colours, kitchen design ideas, they even got us a gas bottle and connector for our hot water for when we arrived.

This service is second to none and for peace of mind it has been worth its weight in gold. We have lived here for 3 months now and Karen is still helping with those "daft" questions that I have.

We recently purchased an apartment in Mojacar Spain. We actually bought it in the midst of the Covid pandemic. We was not able to view the property via a visit, so we went through Casa y Campo home finders. Karen literally went out of her way to make sure it went as smooth as possible. Karen & Paul provide a service that goes beyond that of the normal expectations of Estate (Real Estate) Agency, they have excellent local knowledge and contacts for a large number of services to ensure that the procedures go as smoothly as possible. However perhaps just as importantly, in depth knowledge of those procedures and systems that are essential if you are buying or renting in Spain.

I am currently renting a cortijo in the hills outside Lubrin, through Casa y Campo while our cortijo in the village of Lubrin is being renovated. We first met Karen and Paul 5 months ago when we began our property search. Their help right from the start, which is still ongoing, has been exemplary. My husband, due to work commitments has been in the UK for most of the process, so Karen and Paul’s help has been invaluable to me. When we first started looking, Karen devoted whole days to us, and we looked at numerous properties before making our decision to buy. Karen has introduced me to various trades people, and her fluency in Spanish has allowed us to hire the appropriate skilled workers to carry out the renovations needed. She has a tireless approach, is professional, helpful, and her “can do” attitude makes the whole process less stressful. Karen and Paul are happy to go the extra mile, and have introduced me to their friends, and their families who have all welcomed me into the Lubrin community.
