Arnau is a wonderful host, perhaps the only thing better than his hospitality is his cooking!

To our very pleasant surprise, even though Casa is about 5k south of Arzua, Arnau drove us both to Casa when we arrived in Arzua and back to the Camino when we departed the next morning to resume our Camino!

Would highly recommend :)

Lovely place located in the rural area of Arzúa, about 4 Km.
place it’s classy, elegant and cozy a rare combination to find.
Family operated, food is delicious, well presented and prepared.
With a great view of the country side. I am glad my excellent Camino agency Pilgrim, booked it for me. I’ll be glad to come back to this hotel anytime.

Casa Assumpta was an amazing surprise. The hotel is really cozy and charming. The rooms are nice with a very good size.
We had dinner at the hotel and the food was amazing. It was done by the owner and it was very tasteful. You could "see" that it was prepared with care. Also the wine options were very good.
The owner is very thoughtful.
If you are staying at Arzua this is a very good option (even though is 5km from the city)!

What an absolutely beautiful place in amongst beautiful farming country the cornfields and crops the hospitality was magnificent Arnau served beautiful wine cheese and sausage on arrival and the hotel was a definite stand out on our Camino Santiago experience. Run by Arnau and his Mum we loved it. The rooms the food the ambiance this is rural hospitality at its peak.

Pilgrims that are looking for an extraordinary experience MUST stay at Casa Assumpta. House is cozy and charming. Large rooms and nice garden. Dinning is a MUST!!!! the owner cooks with love an amazing dinner! It was our best meal since the beginning of the Camino. Highy recommended!

Best experience ever
Really nice owner, best cook in the region. This is a very good hotel, with good and spacious bedrooms. The owner is a great good chef. We had no reservations and he opened the hotel for us.

Welcome comfortable overnight stay on cycle Camino tour. Exceptional dinner and breakfast including local produce. Well maintained country property.

Excelente servicio. Su dueño hace que te encuentrres como en casa, como si te alojarás en casa de un familiar, te recoge con alegría después de un camino duro, y te recibe con cercanía. La comida que que ofrece la hace con mimo y no le falta detalle, un desayuno excelente para seguir caminando. Arnau gracias por todo!

Un hospedaje muy bueno, el gerente es muy agradable y buena gente. Nos explico muchas cosas de la zona. La habitacion muy calida y bonita, aunque se oye un poco todo, aun asi la higiene y la limpieza es muy buena. La ubicacion es apartada, pero permite en la noche disfrutar de mucha calma.

Casa Assumpta es un hogar más que un hotel. Las habitaciones son amplias, el comedor y la sala de estar me recordaron mi propia casa. Arnau es un gran cocinero, la comida es excelente. El jardín se presta para juegos de pelota o solo para descansar y relajarse.
Casa Assumpta is home away from home. Arnau is an excellent host and cook. The rooms are comfortable, the garden is large enough to play or relax.

Estuve en septiembre haciendo el camino trato afable i resultó que éramos paisanos comida i habitaciones de diez servicios estupendo muy recomendable

Fuimos a una calçotada, menú pactado típico catalán y nos encantó. Volveremos todos los años en temporada para repetir. Ambiente genial y atención de 10.

Fomos a tomar a calçotada. Moi típica nos meses de xaneiro a abril. Posíblemente a mellor que poidas tomar en Galiza. Os calçots son da IXP Calçots de Valls. O resto do menú impresionante. Bó viño. Persoal moi agradable. Comida espectacular. Parking dentro da finca. Queda a uns oito minutos de Arzúa, fácil de chegar.
Non utilizamos os cuartos da casa, polo que non os podo valorar.

Una casa rural espectacular, buenas habitaciones, entorno idílico, buena comida, a un paso de Santiago y el trato y servicios de Arnau de cine.

Nuestra estancia: viernes 11- salida sábado 12 de agosto 2023, habitación doble. Habitación muy cómoda; nos ha encantado. Amabilidad y atención muy profesional. No nos hemos quedado a cenar, pero estamos viendo ahora las reseñas y en un futuro tenemos que volver. Hemos leído una reseña negativa sobre los precios de la cena y nosotros sí hemos sido informados del precio que tiene todo, de si queremos o no desayuno y como hemos salido de madrugada, las indicaciones han sido claras y muy fáciles. Está a unos km de Arzúa; al tener nosotros coche, ha sido genial o el gerente también te puede recoger y hemos observado que es muy comprometido y adora su trabajo. Se aprecia profesionalidad e ilusión por lo que hace. Recomendable 100%. Muy cómodos en la habitación y muy felices de haber pasado por aquí. Hay una zona con piscina, banquetas de madera...no las hemos utilizado, pero sí las hemos visto; el espacio rural y el alojamiento en sí es precioso.

El chico es súper atento y amable, nos ha recogido y nos ha llevado, y la comida estaba buenísima 10/10
