Meson O Toxo

Eating at Meson O Toxo was by far one of the most memorable experience for me on the Camino. The young gentleman running the place is very down to earth, though his English is very limited, he tries his best and even uses his phone to translate. I was starving and I was there at 6 pm and I was surprised he accommodated me, I’m the only customer with some locals playing cards on the other table. He served which he claimed is a common food around Galicia. I’m very adventurous with food and it was the experience I’m looking but I felt humbled and privileged the way he treated me. It was one of the highlights of my Camino. That must be the menu del dia as I paid only 12 euros with the generous amount of food served but again the way I was treated was phenomenal.Thank you Meson O Toxo🙏

My lunch time here during my camino. Friendly service, affordable price, they try to speak English even not used to.

For 11 eur, I got 1.5L water, 2 food plates, and 1 dessert.

Wow. Incredible food, amazing service, amazing prices. We had two large serving bowls brought out to us of different soups with bread. Both pork and chicken with potatoes and green roasted peppers and ice cream for dessert. Not to mention drinks and two bottles of wine. For three of us it came to $42 euro. The service was incredible and we felt like family. Couldn’t recommend a pilgrim meal more!

12€ for an incredible amount of food (lots of food trust me) and quality! Highly recommend this place for pilgrims. The owner and the waiters are very lovely, kind and welcoming. 10/10

If you want real Galician food, come to this place. Brilliant home cooked food and extremely big portions.

Camino de Santiago, etapa finalizada en Melide. Mesón o Toxo, restaurante de comida y ambiente casero. Comida buenísima y a muy buen precio ( menú día 12€). Comimos una sopa q pudimos repetir tres veces, de segundo, lacón al horno y mi compañera pollo al horno. Delicioso. Muy muy amables y atentos. Recomiendo 100% . Espero poder volver algún día. ❤

Pues que decir....de gusto comer en un lugar así, los dueños muy amables y atentos en todo momento, como de costumbre están desbordados pero aún así atienden rápido, la comida está buena y es abundante, y si tienes hambre solo tienes q decirlo y te sacan otro poco más. Como cada vez q paso por melide, vuelvo aquí para comer. Nuevamente he vuelto a pasar por melide...y como ya avise...he vuelto a O TOXO. Nuevamente todo de 10, la verdad que así da gusto ir a un sitio a comer, comida casera 100%. Hasta la próxima. Saludos.

영어를 잘하는 직원분이 메뉴 소개해주었어요.
저 노란 수프는 한국인 입맛에 딱입니다. 닭곰탕 스타일의 국인데 너무 맛있어서 계속 먹었어요.. 한 6명이서 먹을 정도로 사발에 갖다 줍니다.
치킨도 담백했고 디저트까지 가성비 최고.
콜라랑 물 와인 시켰는데 모두 공짜로? 주셔서 팁 드리고 왔어요.

Fuimos un grupo de 6. Comida casera. Pedimos menú y te ponen olla de primero, bandeja de segundo y hasta puedes repetir. Muy buena comida y a buen precio. Recomendable tanto si eres peregrino como si no.

Super recomendado. Una atención muy buena. Personal muy atento. La comida rica y abundante. Simplemente perfecto
