The food was delicious and the service was excellent! Every dish was beautifully presented and really tasty. They were even kind enough to offer us a table inside even though they were quite busy. Highly recommend!!

Casona De Nene's interior design and personalized service is carried out at its Casa Nene restaurant. Set desayuno included selection of rustic pans and slices of moist almond tortas, butter and jam, selection of cheeses, dulce membrillo and dry cured ham non vegetarian plate while the non neat selection included walnuts. Freshly squeezed orange juice and a bowl of fresh fruit were served first. Coffee, as always was perfectly brewed. Interior is just simply decorated tastefully and wait staff attentive and quick. Set bfast came with the accomodation.

This place is a hidden gem. Really nice fish, meats and entries. We had:
- Croquetas melosas de chipirones (fantastic, made with both the squid and the ink)
- Brioche de calamar frito con mayonesa de lima y menta (super creative and yummy, served looking like a hot dog with fried calamari instead of sausage and a sweet brioche, plainly great)
- Croca de ternera (the meat was super nice but a small portion, the potatoes are freshly created crisps, which, though creative, was slightly a bummer for a hungry person)
- Pescado del dia - hake cooked on the grill with super soft and tasty boiled potatoes and mushy peas, this one was a dream)
- Cheesecake (it was soft and tasty, pure perfection)

We also had a very nice Albariño, recommended by the bartender, but don’t remember the name (sadly)

Service was on point ! Food was spectacular .. scallops , fish and the tempura with Kimchi dressing was extremely good! My friends loved the grilled pork and entrecôte. I don’t eat meat but enjoyed all the appetizers we ordered especially the burrata with Tomato tartar plus the Cheese cake was to die for !

The place was pretty fully booked, but we still got a table.

Before the meal we got served some good bread and fresh olive oil. We ordered a starter that was very tasty.

The main course was solid. We ordered veal which was perfectly cooked. The sides could have been better. Alongside the steak you only get some basic potato chips. Some normal fries or baked potato would have been nice.

I’d come back.

The food, service and atmosphere was terrific! We all enjoyed our starters and meals. The sangria was delicious! Would recommend making a reservation, as it is small and cozy.

We were surprised to find such a fantastic restaurant in a small town on our Camino walk. Great food for a reasonable price and high quality along with a excellent wine list. Very attentive and helpful staff. One of our party was vegetarian and they were very helpful to provide interesting dishes to him. Should I be in the area again, then I will be dinning here.

Very creative food, wide seletion of local wine and professional service, he can speak English (not really friendly but it's fine).

This is a truely outstanding restaurant. We had high expectations given the positive reviews, but they were exceeded by far. We had fish and meet and everything was not only Michelin-star-like quality, but also the way it was prepared and presented was superb. Sad that there is no such place near where I live.

2 years living in Spain, this is the single best meal I have had. Everything was excellent, nice selection of wine, and friendly local service. Thanks!

Phenomenal!
Starting from the service which was amazing, fantastic recommendations and so nice and helpful.
The food was made to the highest standard and the prices are reasonable.
We were 4 people, we took 2 starters, 2 main dishes, a bottle of local wine, and a dessert to share.
I could only photograph the starters because once we started eating we forgot about pictures!
What really stood out:
Scallops (seasonal off menu) - soft, perfectly done.
Risotto with local chicken - OMG
Local pork with cheese sauce (M) - so moist and flavorful
Quince and cheese dessert- what a beautiful well balanced combination
Do not miss out on this place, it's a real treat!

Such a great meal after weeks of walking the Camino. Truly gourmet!! The scallops were so good!! The server was so friendly too.

Absolutely phenomenal! Galician ingredients prepared in a flavorful way that highlights the ingredient. We had Galician veal, Iberico pork, and Arzuan cheese. Staff is so helpful and there is a menu in English as well. Wonderful!

Doing the Camino, and this was the best food I’ve ever had in Spain! Must eat if you’re around. Best if ordered for sharing. Reservation recommended.

We had this recommendation from our hostess last night at the hostel and it certainly didn't disappoint we actually made reservations for lunch! Now one of the best meals we've had on the Camino Del Norte!

The meal was so wonderful. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. The tuna and veal were outstanding. After eating pilgrim's menu for several days, this was an absolute highlight. Thank you so much!
