This review is on the restaurant.
I’m giving it low 5 star for their service and food.
Our server was very was nice and the dishes was delicious.
Excellent wine (Albariño).
Services in restaurants, cafes bar in Spain are a hit and miss.

I ordered Merzula con potato y salad first then I made a change to Lubino con patata , and I like it very much!
It’s the most delicious fish I’ve tasted so far on French Way.
I’m grateful that I chose small villages to stay over in my last week.

I dined at Meson Ribadiso on one stop in my Camino, and was very satisfied.

I had the set menu, from which there was a choice of dishes: I had lentil soup as a starter, fish as main course, and tarta de Santiago for dessert. I chose water to drink, but the menu includes wine or other beverages in case you want to go for them, at no extra cost.

All the dishes were delicious, but the fish was absolutely stellar, so I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

The service was also good, I can see that some previous reviewers seem to have had a bad experience, but that was definitely not the case for me.
The multi-language menu helped me in my choice (I spoke only very basic Spanish), and the person serving me (who seemed to be the manager) was friendly and efficient.

It was a nice experience for me at the end of a long walking day, so I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

I only had lunch here, but did not sleep here. The lunch was delicious. Great and friendly service. They have a large open and also covered patio.

The vegetarian options are: salad, lentils, pasta with tomato sauce, pimientos de padron and tortilla espanola. I took a salad with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, arzuan cheese and eggs. Then I had my lentil soup. Pro tip: put the cheese from your salad into the lentils. They melt in there and are so tasty! The lentils, even though they were theoretically a starter, a huge portion as if they were a main. They were flavorful as well.

My friend ordered pulpos frittos de galleda, which are fried octopus. She said it was chewy and nothing special. She would rate it a 4/5.

Service was nice and friendly. The bogavante rice was very good (it does take long but you are warned before hand). The location is beautiful.

Pilgrim’s menu was wonderful choice. I can enjoy fresh salad and grilled beef with drink in 15 euro.

Only bar open between Melide and Arzua on the Camino in January. Even though the owner was having lunch himself, he promptly brought a refreshing drink with a nice tapa on the side. Nice terrace out front, great for a refuelling stop!

We had a very nice dinner here. Although the menu looks a bit expensive at first compared to other restaurants on el camino, the portions were very very big and really tasty. So, it was well worth the price.

The best (and only) restaraunt in Ribadiso. However, the pizza is mediocre, so I recommend getting something else. The grilled chicken is quite good, as is the bacon and eggs. Buen provecho!
