What. A. FIND! Kind and courteous bilingual staff. Chill atmosphere. Each plate was completely different than the one before. Everything was spectacularly prepared. Super interesting and reasonably priced wine list. The portions were more generous than the typical Michelin recommendations. Authentic and interesting local cuisine. Will definitely return and recommend to anyone who finds themselves in Cuenca.

Food was excellent, and the staff very friendly, patient and helpful. Must absolutely try the papadas with hierbabuena, peanuts and teriyaki sauce. The leche merenguada dessert was exquisite (and disappeared within seconds in our bellies). I want to come back to Cuenca just to eat here again.

Wow!!! Just wow!! This restaurant is phenomenal! If you're looking for a break from the typical Spanish flavors in the area, this is the place to go. While the menu is small, the flavors are BIG BIG BIG! The services was also impeccable! The woman who served us was full of smiles and patience explaining menu items to us. We had three dishes, the tuna tartare, chop suey, and a pork plate. All were truly amazing and distinct. The tuna tartare was fresh and packed with flavor. The chop suey was not at all traditional and made with zucchini noodles, but came in a creamy delicate sauce. Finally the last, the thinly sliced pork dish was rich and nutty. The Asian influence is readily apparent, but we loved how they created new flavors in the fusion. Finally my husband order the chocolate ice cream. It had broken cone chunks on top and a shot of Bailey's they poured over once at the table. It became almost like a cereal! But a very delicious adult version. We can't recommend this restaurant enough! Be open minded, don't expect traditional Spanish flavors, and you'll love it. Expand that palette!

Definitely one of the best restaurants in Cuenca. Great Asian-western fusion food with lots of different choices (also awesome desserts).

Not the usual Spanish restaurant. Food packed with flavour. Very fairly priced and friendly staff.

We have never experienced anything quite like Olea. The combinations, attention to detail, quality of the service were exquisite and truly sublime.
The presa ibérico literally melted and created a sensation on our pallet quite like no other. We also ordered the causa limeña and OMG. This chef is quite literally a wizard with his abilities to combine what could be deemed unusual items, that just create the perfect dish, each and every time. We salute you !!!
We were blown away and will be returning to experience this ‘out of this world’ restaurant as soon as we can.
