Hotel La Almoraima

I’ve stayed at this lovely location for 2 days for a work summit. This is much more of a hotel but a restored 17th century convent offering a unique accommodation. Rooms are good , as well as food at the restaurant and service.

Great hotel and nice team in the reception.
The first room was amazing and very clean.

La Almoraima is conveniently located between Tarifa & Gibraltar.
The property has specious rooms with high sealing and even more specious bathrooms, that easily could be part of a 5 star establishment.
30min drive away is lovely medieval castle of Castellar de la Frontera that is worth visiting for its stunning views.

Beautiful hotel. We had a relaxing time and enjoyed the restaurant. One of our best stays in Andalucia.

This is just one perfect place.
Of course, if you are looking for nightlife and lots of bars and restaurants you are at the wrong location; which you could have known if you had only one short look at maps/TripAdvisor/whatsoever.

Taking everything into account this place has some kind of perfect alignment of all factors: an old monestry, located a rural area, with nice rooms and especially bathrooms, an atrium, opportunity to go whale watching - biking - horse riding, lemon trees,tennis court, flair, atmosphere to calm down and only some few other guests, outside bar, a restaurant - last but not least friendly staff.

I had the please to visit a lot of hotels all over the world but this is a special one. Read a book. Or even write. Do some studies. Or just relax.

Beautiful place with absolutely the perfect accomodation.
It is possible to visit a few attractions around, Monarcha butterfly or Gibraltar for example.

Just visited this location, we did not stay so I cannot review the rooms or services but the location is wonderful.

One of the nicest hotels we stayed in. Spotless and spacious accommodation and a courtyard to die for. Highly recommended. We definitely stay there again.

We stayed a night the staff help us to find the best places to visit around. The place is a refurbished old convento with a tower.

Beautiful place

Se trata de un lugar espectacular por su ubicación, rodeado de naturaleza y por su personal, siempre amable y atento.
Otra cosa que me gustó bastante fueron los huevos fritos del desayuno con su puntillita.
Se trata de un edificio histórico y por lo tanto sus habitaciones serán acordes al mismo, si le tuviera que poner alguna pega, a mí los colchones me gustan un poco más duros.
Por cierto, tienen dos puntos de recarga para coches eléctricos.

Experiencia inigualable, la habitación magnífica, con una terraza impresionante. El servicio de desayuno muy bueno. La excursión en 4x4 con Cristian divertida a la vez que instructiva por toda la informacion que nos dió. El fin de semana era una sorpresa por el 60 cumpleaños de mi marido y los objetivos se han cumplido con creces. Muchas gracias a todos.
