Restaurante Casa Pepe San José

This was the best restaurant I've ever been to in the entire province of Almeria! They were incredibly accomodating and friendly! As a vegan, it's very difficult to find places that have good vegan options. I must say, the alcachofas and the vegan vegetable and mushroom rice were exquisite. I highly recommend vegan and non vegans alike to come!

We like this restaurant. Service is good. Salmorejo, then the vegetable rice both great. Recommended.

We just had drinks and the barman suppied some food which was unexpected. We like the hidden aspect of this place and the food looked good. We would come back if ever here again

Lovely atmosphere, amazing view, friendly stuff. Unfortunately paella we ordered was so so. Fresh and tasty but in my opinion too much leak in it which taste was more like a risotto with leak than proper paella. Huge portion - we ordered for two but for sure three people could eat. (22€/pp).
Olives, buns, garlic sauce and olive oil - served at the beginning very tasty.

Dos veces hemos comido en este restaurante de San José, de lo mejorcito.
Buenos consejos, buena cocina y SIEMPRE HAY QUE APOYAR A LOS SITIOS QUE ESTÁN ABIERTOS TODO EL AÑO ( obviamente, salvo sus merecidas vacaciones).
A los platos añadidos recomiendo los boquerones, berenjenas...
Volveremos otro año.

Es la 2 vez que voy y sin duda para mi es el mejor restaurante que hay en San Jose. El trato es excelente, el dueño te atiende personalmente y te recomienda a la perfección. He probado el arroz negro y el de gambones y los 2 son exquisitos. Las croquetas muy buenas al igual que el pulpo y las almejas. Tiene una gran variedad de pescados. La ubicación es inmejorable con unas vistas espectaculares. Sin duda mi restaurante de referencia en San José.

Una comida espectacular.
Recomendamos el arroz de verduras y la milhoja con queso de cabra y huevo, exquisita. Da gusto ir a sitios de costa siendo vegetariana y tener más opciones que unas patatas fritas.
La atención por parte de julio y su compañero fue excepcional, atentos, amables y muy rápidos. Felicitaciones al equipo de cocina, todo buenísimo.

Espectacular como todos los años. Las vistas desde sus ventanales son una delicia, el servicio impecable y la comida excepcional. El calamar en aceite muy bueno y el arroz casa pepe de gambón y puerro delicioso y abundante. La torrija algo seca a nuestro gusto. Un placer visitar este lugar. No es barato pero merece la pena cada euro.

Para empezar el restaurante tiene unas vistas increíbles, ya solo por eso merece la pena ir. Además, la comida es espectacular. Las croquetas y el arroz, buenísimas.
Fui con mi pareja y queremos hacer mención especial al camarero que nos atendió (Juan): súper amable, atento y prudente. Volveremos sin duda… Viva Almería!
