I like the landscape here, it's even a sunny and warm spot during winter along the coast

Such an amazing place. Even though the sun wasn't shining it is still beautifull to drive around here. Really recommend it!!

This Natural Park is simply breathtaking! Best to explore by foot. The are numerous trails along the coast going up and down from one gorgeous beach to the next secluded cove, up you go giant sand dunes and down to an orchard of "pitas"...Please keep this please clean, DO NOT litter and leave nothing behind, thank you

Awesome. The last semi arid zone in Europe. As inhospitable an environment as you will find yet filled with flora and fauna that can live nowhere else and stunning scenery. If you are in Almeria this area is a must see.

Avoid the infamous sea of plastic in the middle and stick to the coastal roads only. Some of the best beaches are n the world, the prettiest fishing villages in Spain and Europe's warmest, driest winter make this unmissable if you find the right places.Aquaamarga,Las Negras,Rodalqyilar and San Jose are all worth a visit and can be viewed in one day if touring not staying. However I recommend staying, especially if it's winter.

Amazing beaches with crystal clear water. Mostly enjoyed by locals! Just know that there is time slot to enter the car park. Outside of these slots, you will have no access but you will be asked to park at the 1st car park until the relevant time slot!

Long stretchers of beach, was a bit windy, lovely beach, and further down up the mountain, great views at the light house.

If you are looking for calm and peace, this is the place. Very steep shelf into water so watch the kids but it makes for a great swim. Lots water sports too. Amazing food at the chiringuito right on the beach..good quality and good value. Worth a drive. X

Take the time to hike along the coastline. It will be worth it. We spent about 4 hours here. It was breathtaking! Beautiful sights.

We didn’t know what to expect and were blown away by the vast stretch of open coastline, seemingly untouched by the tourism that usually takes over at beaches. Some of the roads along the coastline (past the lighthouse) are in much worse shape than others; if you want to drive those areas comfortably, take something rugged. We watched sunset close to the lighthouse and stopped back in Cabo de Gato for caña+tapas - a perfect day.

Africa dives under Spain making fantastic volcanic geology and spectacular scenery. Our Spanish friend's favourite part of his own country. One of my favourite parts of any country. Swimming is good whether in clear water from rocky beaches or in waves at the sandy beaches.
