Camping Hendaye Ametza

Great site with all the facilities you need.

We liked it that you get a key to your own individual toilet and shower. Pool was clean as well.

The restaurant was particularly good. Proper pizza leavened for 72 hours, home made desserts and even home made dips.

Only issue is that it’s on top of Hendaye and a steep ten minute walk to the beach and front.

Great campsite, close to the beach and friendly staff Clean, well kept gardens and good size plots. Friendly staff and restaurant is good, we would definitely recommend this campsite.

Had a fantastic time, stayed for 20 days, we enjoyed it so much. Perfectly placed for touring the surrounding area, from Bilbao to Biarritz. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic camping Ametza 5* A super family friendly camp site with a warm welcome- time after time. We have been coming for 6 years and we will be coming again.

We stayed here in June with out motor home the pitch was super with our own bathroom facilities.
We returned in September and stayed in one of the mobile homes for a week and we were very happy with the view and location. I would recommend this camp site. Definitely 5 star.

Great campsite, pool and restaurant with attentive service everybody was super nice. Only thing we can think of as feedback is the welcome evening is mainly French a bit of translation would of been nice but would definitely come back again

Stayed one night in our motorhome with the dog very nice reception staff restaurant bar on site your own shower and toilet facilities which was lovely great site fully serviced pitch 10 mins walk down hill into town and beach lovely beach dog not allowed bars and restaurants in town

An amazing campsite, friendly staff, great facilities (although the men's toilets didn't have toilet seats). Filled with mostly French and Spanish tourists so possibly not very English friendly but we had no trouble. Easy free bus ride to the beach, even then it's a walkable distance, town centre is nice, with lots of restaurants. There's always something on during the summer and has a great atmosphere.

Very welcoming , friendly and spotless What a lovely campsite in a beautiful area. The owners couldn't be more helpful, each plot has own private facilities which were kept super clean. The aquagym was great fun with a lovely instructor. The beach is just a short cycle or walk away. Lots to see and visit in the area.

My wife and I, along with our two daughters (5 and 7), stayed in Camping Ametza for the beginning of our 12 day trip around Spain (although Ametza is actually in France... just). The pitch was spacious and plenty of room for campervan and awning. The pool was spotless and open 10am-8pm. The shop was well stocked with essentials and fresh produce. A real highlight was the regular free bus to the beach which saved on the legs for the little ones. If you go, a must is a short ferry trip to Hondarribia for some authentic Tapas (ferries every 15mins until 1am). A lifetime of memories and would certainly recommend.

Very nice place. Maintained to highest standard. All places en-suites. You get a key to your own bathroom. Wi-Fi around all campsite. Reasonably priced. One person one night with tent €22. There is restaurant, basic shop and playground for kids. Highly recommended 👍

Cleanest campsite toilets of our road trip. Friendly owner. Good for hendaye beach. Amazing swimming pool. Pitches are a bit tight for space.
