Los Coloraos

Must visit in Andalusia!! This is one of the most stunning places we visited here. Left biggest impression of all. Looks like Spanish Grand Canyon. Just be aware the road is wavy and steep, was quite scary for me. When we got to the top, we didn’t follow the rocky road down, but google maps showed there’s still 7 km to go. You need to be an experienced driver and have a good car for this adventure. However, highly recommended!

Such a nice natural area and it felt like in America and some western movie. The whole round trip is perfect for bicycle or motorcycle to have nice ride in wonderful scenery. I would not attempt to go there with car as one part of the drive is really steep with big overhangs.

Unforgettable experience. From Gorafe with some shape hair pins and steep uphill at the beginning, but otherwise a totally manageable self drive experience. However, after this beauty spot you should turn around at the start where my first photo shows. The down hill is very steep, and over narrow grooves.The ditches are very deep. After this and at some point there will be very steep uphill, again deep ditches and narrow grooves.
We drove a middle size SUV, front wheel drive. A 4x4 is recommended if you want to attempt red route. But for Gorafe to Los Coloraos and Cerro de la Bendera an experienced driver should managed ok.

Amazing place to visit, beautiful scenery, best way is through Gorafe, if accessed from the Mirador the way is too long, make sure your vehicle is high enough as there's areas with high bumps and gaps where you can get stock in the middle of nowhere.

Breathtaking beauty! Recommend to go by electro bike (you can rent them in Gorafe city) and meet the sunset there!

Beautiful

Superbe randonnée de 25km, réalisée en 5h40 avec une pause pique nique, le décor est incroyable, il y a personne sur les sentiers. En été, ne partez pas après 8h du matin car il fait chaud et prenez minimum 3L d’eau par personne.

Vandaag hier aangekomen 27-04-24. Prachtige plek na spannende rit door de bergen en de desierto … af en toe smal/ steil en veel geulen, maar de truck deed het prima 👍

Verdammt geniale Erfahrung durch diese Wüste zu fahren, bitte aber ein richtigen Geländewagen nehmen da die Straßen zum Teil in einem sehr mitgenommenen Zustand sind und sehr Steil.

Hacer la visita a Los Coloraos es totalmente recomendable. La vista son unas tres horas. Turismo Starlight

非常美丽，惊艳的感受！好像到了世界最宁静的地方，大地美色尽收！！！在山上平常车在某些位置需要小心，如果下山就一定要车底比较高的车，很危险！今天是惊喜和惊吓并存！！！

Un lugar único en España. El paisaje por colores y accidentado, los valles, las ramblas, cañones, la luz que tiene al amanecer y al atardecer y su cielo nocturno. Me ha dejado prendido la zona.

Es un lugar mágico, no muy lejos de Gorafe,no te esperas tanta belleza donde no hay NADA, merece la pena perderse por los caminos que recorren la zona, eso si, mejor con todoterreno.
Sinceramente me ha impresionado mucho.
Empezamos la ruta desde la entrada al valle de Gorafe, decir que al principio el camino parece apto para cualquier vehículo, pero poco a poco va empeorando, se puede recorrer, pero si hay barro o tu coche es bajo, ten mucho cuidado, aun así, al menos hasta los primero miradores llegarías sin problemas, pero no te adentres mas, sobre todo partir de que el camino comienza a bajar.
También recomiendo que lleves batería en el móvil para irte guiando, aunque los desvíos (al menos los que vi) están señalizados, no viene mal llevar un mapa a mano.
Durante unos 40km de carriles pudimos ver todo tipo de formaciones geológicas, los caminos suben y bajan por las lomas y las ramblas (mucho cuidado si llueve al recorrer las ramblas) las vistas desde las laderas y las colinas mejoran a cada kilómetro que te adentras en el desierto.
Seria importante, si te vas a adentrar, llevar bastante agua, es una zona muy seca y despoblada, ademas apenas hay cobertura así que hay que tener ciertas precauciones.
Resumen; Sitio de 10!!!

Hicimos la ruta circular a pie, en torno a 25 km, y disfrutamos de unos parajes de una belleza singular: cárcavas, "chimeneas de hadas", espartales...
La pista está en buen estado y la señalización es óptima. No hay agua potable durante el recorrido por lo tanto resulta indispensable ir provisto de ella.

Espectáculo geológico digno de verse. Las rutas tanto a pie como en bicicleta son duras: pendientes fuertes, clima árido, caluroso y sin agua.

Prachtig! De omgeving geeft je het gevoel in een soort western tijdperk te zetten.
De kleuren, de diepe kloven, de route die er kronkelend doorheen gaat.

Époustouflant de beauté....mais attention le terrain est exigeant physiquement (vélo ou randonnée voiture a proscrire) et attention à la chaleur
