Camping Rural La Cabañuela **

This was our favourite campsite so far throughout Spain. It really is a hidden Gem.
The lady at reception was more than helpful, showed us all the local attractions and pleasant to deal with. The staff at the resteraunt were very polite and helpful too.
Pitches were huge, the showers and toilets were very clean and looked after.
Fantastic camp site, we only intended on one night but stayed 4! Perfect for dogs with a beautiful walk down to the lake.
We already cannot wait to return.

What a fabulous campsite in an amazing location, super peaceful. The facilities are beautifully clean with plenty of hot water. The ladies running the site are really friendly and helpful and having the restaurant and bar is a bonus. The food is good and reasonably priced. We would return.

We loved the complete tranquility and the landscape of the Tabernas and Sierras.
Sylvia, Azaharra and Laura are perfect hosts .
The facilities are beautiful and the food and service excellent.

We stayed for one week and both the ladies that run the campsite were very friendly and helpful.
Although we did not go to the restaurant it looked very good and well maintained.We will definitely be staying there again and the surrounding areas are beautiful.

Clean with amazing hot showers. The host is very sympathetic. Quite and in nature. Worth every cent!

A great place, scenic drives along the dam, clean with a nice pool. We were the only guests there on a Friday night in July, no idea why. The staff was very polite.

Excellent location for the beautiful Lake Negratin. The receptionist is very friendly and hard working; she appears to be doing everything on her own including cleaning and maintenance.
The toilet facilities are clean and well- stocked: toilet paper, hand towels, soap.
Some of the pitches on the far side are a bit run down but I imagine the site has not been so busy this year because of the covid-19 situation.
The price of €15/€17 per night is very reasonable.

Nice, little and quiet place. Almost alone beginning of May. Very clean. Restaurant at the lake seems to be closed. Recommendation.

Fantastic cozy camp ground nestled beside Lake Negretin (5min walk). This campsite is clean and has great facilities (pool, small cafe and a good sized communal area). It's also very quiet, with large camping pitches and power available at all pitches. Price is also very reasonable. 2 adults, car and a large tent on a powered site for €15.

Great location as can walk to the reservoir in a few minutes which is stunning. Lovely pool on-site and not busy. Toilets very clean and it's only €15 for two adults with a tent and car.

On arrival was met by Silva, who was extremely helpful.
Although site was almost empty due to COVID,
It was clean and being renovated.
Pitch had a overhead screen and with 35c plus this was a great addition.
Just a couple of minutes walk to the Embalse de Negratin playa where the water is clear and warm. Lovely restaurant by the playa too.
Ideal for hiking swimming running and biking

I had a very positive experience in Camping La Cabañuela. Lovely, helpful and stress-free staff. All facilities are satisfactory. The site is tranquil and very close to the idilic lake down the road. I intend to come back every summer!

Nice and quiet. Toilet and shower facilities spotless and clean. Could do with some signs as it was a little hard to find.

Have stayed here several times. Very close to lake Negratin.
