Public and free parking could be a problem in Getaria, approximately 16 km from San Sebastian Donostia.

Great museum. Worth a visit . Good access for wheelchairs & pushchairs. Nice toilets too! It's right at the end of the harbour & is a lovely walk along. Lots to see, mostly people watching.

Great exposition and exhibition of the origins and work of one of the greatest designers ever. Balenciaga deserved a building like this one. The architecture is a highlight of Balenciaga's work and this museum is a great building for Getaria.

Greatly curated museum. Shows the life and work of the greatest couturier of Spain: Cristóbal Balenciaga. It’s located in the beautiful village of Getaria, overlooking the sea. The guides are great and know a lot and the place is splendid.

Great experience in Getaria! You would enjoy both the exhibition and the view. Moreover, parking in that area is good option for next traveling down in the port.

Amazing experience and made me emotional to see Balenciaga’s own clothings. No line for the entrance and escalator inside and outside the museum. 30-40’ visit maximum.

Some beautiful items of ladies clothes from years gone by, in a lovely building.
If you like fashion and hate culture, this is the place for you.

Stunning museum with well laid out displays of Balenciaga's work from a few decades. I walked through several air conditioned pods displaying works in glass encased rooms in each pod. With the positioning of the mannequins, it gave me a good view to see the pieces from multiple angles.

Lovely museum in a small fisher village. For those who fond timeless pieces created with magnificent skills.

Rates a 4 star if you are into fashion. I would have loved more samples of clothes & better lighting.
