There's few things better than enjoying fresh calamari, paella and mixed fried fish whilst hearing the waves crash on the beach that is literally meters away. Truly a hidden local gem. Bit of a queue, just don't forget to write your name on the waiting list and enjoy the stunning sea view in the meantime.

You’ll regret if you’re around and don’t go. It’s right on the beach front. They have very good traditional spanish food (paella, seafood, all sorts of fish, salmorejo, gazpacho etc). The value for money is incredible, especially from Monday to Friday when the “Menu del Dia” is on offer. The food is really fresh and the waiting times are short.

They’re closed on Saturdays and on Sunday they’re only cooking meals from the “a la carte” menu - so expect to pay a bit more.

This is a fantastic place for lunch, situated overlooking the sea with a great view of the coastline around San Juan de Los Terreros. The food is largely seafood based but also there’s enough of a selection for non-fish lovers such as myself. Staff are very attentive and extremely quick! They do a very good value set lunch. The cuisine is not elaborate but definitely tasteful. An enjoyable lunch experience. Will happily return here.

Love this place! Any closer to the sea and your feet would get wet. Absolutely the antithesis of 'fine dining' . Probably the best day is Sunday, you can't book a table you turn up put your name on a list by the door and wait. Sometimes the wait will be quite lengthy but hey have you got a bus to catch!
The fish and seafood is all freshly cooked, plenty of choices whether you fancy fried, grilled or carpacio. There's a small range of meat but why bother when you have fishy heaven. Paellas look inviting. Small selection of home made desserts together with some ice creams should you desire.
The waiters are stretched to the max so don't expect attentive table service but that doesn't detract from the experience. I'm just pleased not to do a shift there!. Don't know how they manage to keep it running (literally running) so efficiently.
All of this plus decent prices. Calamar on the plancha is an absolute favourite or maybe a simple plate of fried fish 🍽🍽

Went with friends. The waiters were wonderful and the food great. The main course was bigger than I could finish.

Just LOVE La Frontera, I think we have eaten the Menu del Dia here more than anywhere! Thursday is my favourite, paella de marisco is the plata del dia, followed my favourite main, bacalao with extra tomato sauce. It’s awesome. Super efficient service by all the team. Great rosado. Excellent value for money. True favourite ❤❤❤❤

We love this sea front family-run bar restaurant. Menu del dia, Monday to Friday, is excellent value at just €11. We also had an a la carte menu meal when we went at the weekend. Excellent food, great value for money The food is good quality, freshly cooked and great choices for each course. The staff are wonderful, friendly and helpful.
We hope to go again before we leave Spain at the end of the month.

One of our favourite lunch venues. Right next to the beach with an excellent local menu. I would highly recommend the lemon or chocolate mousse! Excellent value for money and great service.

El mejor restaurante. The best sea food beach restaurant. It's my favourite. They have the best calamaris. The setting is spectacular. You are only few yards from the beach.

Beautiful location right by the sea. Incredible value 10 € typical Spanish meal. Friendly staff. Get there early as you can't book a table. Very speedy service. Looking forward to eating there again.

Fantastic restaurant, so close to the sea any nearer and you'll get your feet wet.. Lovely menu of seafood, plus a small selection for the meat eaters amongst us... We go on a Sunday, you cannot reserve a table, you have to write your name and number of persons on a list by the door... they do get very busy but it is well worth the wait... how much will the meal cost... depends on your choices... but as an average l would say 40 euro per couple, including a drink... we don't have a postre, only because we are to full... enjoy your visit...

Excellent restaurant by the seaside. Good seafood and tapas.beers and wine also available. Recommended for a lunch or a tapa on the terrace.
