Hotel Best Cap Salou

Excellent value for money at Best Cap Salou. We were unsure due to the mixed reviews but it has surpassed our expectations. The food is good quality and always plenty of choice, especially breakfast, fruits and salads are always fresh.
The swimming pools are excellent and there is some all inclusive options available at the kids pool including soft drinks, beer and coffee.
Excellent service the staff are all friendly and polite. Eliana was exceptional with our little boy.
The only improvement for us would be the rooms - air con in May would have made it more comfortable and the balconies are a little bit dangerous for under 2s.

If there were no British people that are extremely Loud and st… we could have enjoyed it better. People that come here are mostly British… never ever i will go in a hotel with British. I think its better to make something like adults only „British not Allowed „

This hotel is unfairly underrated!
Before checking in, we read the reviews and were afraid that they were true. But we did not encounter any rowdy Englishmen at the hotel, no broken glass on the beach, or rude staff.
The staff is friendly, the hotel area is cleaned every morning (despite the fact that some guests leave heaps of trash behind them), the quality and variety of food is excellent!
We had a couple of comments (clogged sink and missing shampoo in the room): after contacting the reception, the problems were fixed within an hour.
Of the minuses: missing hood in the toilet (there is simply no ventilation🙄) and lack of a toilet brush 🙈. The quality of cleaning in the room is good, but could be better. For example, shampoo/shower gel should be checked and refilled regularly.
Overall the hotel is very good and deserves a solid 4 stars!

I went to best cap salou hotel for the last 2 weeks of May just myself and my 7 year old son. I have to say after reading the reviews after I had booked it I was really worried. But after getting there an having a lovely warm welcome from the reception staff I was hoping al the reviews were wrong, an let me tell you I could t of asked for a nicer clean hotel where the staff are lovely, my son is very shy an has never been to a kids club an we go away 2/3 times a year. The children’s club staff Miles, Natalia and Mireia were the nicest, caring an welcoming people you could meet, they made my son come out of his shell an quiet confident in his self, I.E every morning he would wake about 9.30 ish an first thing he would say is hav I missed the club soon as I said he had 30 minutes till it opened he was so excited to get there. They also done a kids disco at 9/9.15 which I think could be mayb 8/8.15 aswas a little late for some of the kids but we enjoyed it along side everyone else, they also got all the adults involved an was enjoyable for all 😊. People have moaned about the staff not talking any English well all the staff I met tried there hardest to understand an help in every way they could, the staff in the bar are very working an do 14/15 hour shifts an we’re constantly busy but all amazing people, only one thing i think they could change is maybe have a que system so then idiots don’t moan if someone pushes in, also I think they should have an area where people should eat there snacks as 70% of ignorant people think all inclusive means leave plates on the floor an let staff clear there mess which is very ignorant of them, also an idea what another hotels I e been to is when you arrive you get a welcome cup with hotel name on an when you get a drink they swap it an give you fresh cups all the time an if you loose them you have to purchase another fora euro I think this wil stop people leaving there cups every where, also the coffee machine should be separate from the bar as it takes to much time for the over worked staff to do these different coffee for people. The each I have to say is outstanding as is the hotel an staff. As you can guess after what I have wrote I really enjoyed it, so I’m booking up to go bak in 6 weeks 😊. So to all of you reading the bad reviews I WOULD IGNORE THEM AS ITS AL LIES 😊. To all the staff can’t wait to see you again very soon. Loved this place, ❤ my only niggle was the evening entertainment it was ok but not great.
Fantastic first holiday destination for my grandchildren who spent most of their time in the water, both the pool and the sea.
The food was good, and the children did give the variety of cuisines a try.
Staff that I encountered were friendly and accommodating, the rooms were clean and comfortable. I would certainly return for a holiday with the children.

Came here for a family vacation, after had arrived we spent two hours in a line for a check-in, which is the only disadvantage that we experienced as it was the day of opening. The hotel is very nice, games, pools, water slides, food are amazing but the biggest advantage is a private beach and entertainments, there are animations for kids and adults throughout the day. We had a great time staying here!

Place is great everyone said the same that we talked to looking at the reviews it's lies gready all inclusive people stuffing themselves till there sick. Like what do you want for 30 euro a day. I couldn't recommend this place enough staff are so friendly menim and David especially couldn't do enough for us. you have lovely restaurants and bars just outside the hotel if you didn't fancy staying in the hotel for the night miserable people will always find ways to be miserable. home in Ireland 2 hours and already pricing the same hotel for next year absolutely brilliant for the kids and adults

The hotel is 3 star but j would say its easily a 4 star I am an international seasoned traveller book this hotel and am currently here till 5th May . I just came back from a 5 star in Rhodes and must say this is on par the food here is really good . The rooms are not huge but adequate for what you need mine has two double bed for 2 people balcony is OK nice views excellent customer service staff are professional and helpful.pool area is really nice well kept and slides are great for kids of all ages . Bar is good . The hotel is exactly what it was advertised as . Excellent for families its a little bit out from main area but has its own beach and everything you need near by . Will be back with my children soon.

I read so many bad reviews before coming here which made me feel sad about coming…. But I have to say please don’t listen to all the negative reviews
I’m on my 3rd day and I can honestly say I am having a lovely time.
On arrival I was greeted with a big smile and a very lovely lady checked me in who was very helpful!
The food is typical all inclusive but plenty to choose from and is tasty although not the hottest but there are microwaves around if this bothers you!
The pool is a decent size but very busy and noisy so if this isn’t for you head on down to the beach which you can access right from the hotel.
The beach is beautiful it’s a small cove so the water is still and warm.
Cap salou is beautiful but not a lot to do there shop wise etc but you can walk into salou town which I’ve done today it’s a 50 minute walk and also flat .
Overall it’s a lovely hotel clean staff have been friendly I can not fault it you get what you pay for so if you’re looking for 5 star …. Pay 5 star prices!

Friendly and helpful staff who do a great job of keeping guests happy. The rooms are a little small but absolutely fine, the beds are comfortable and the shower is very good! The food selection is amazing including breads , pastries, yoghurts, desserts, salads , fruits, cold meats and cheese , pasta and sauces , vegetables , hot meat , fish , grill to order eggs, omelettes, meat, pancakes, you would be very hard pushed to find something you don’t like! The pools and water park are brilliant and so close to a beautiful little beach. Perfect for families with young children! The only negative is wifi is a little weak but as long as you remember data it but locally it’s an easy fix. We are having an excellent time and will definitely return!

Lovely hotel, went all inclusive with four adults and one child. The food and drinks were wonderful and varied, suitable for children and picky eaters. The people serving inside and out were fantastic and polite. Pools were clean and never too crowded. The beach had no litter and was great for families or couples, it was right on the hotel with another beach adjacent. Rooms were cleaned daily. Can't fault the place.

Rooms were spotless and cleaned everyday food and drink on the all inclusive were good plenty of choice only downside is the aircon was off

The ester park they have is great for small children. The adult pool is deep and refreshing and the spa water is actually warm. The double standard rooms are comfortable and the beds are big. The breakfast buffet is good has quite a selection.

I adore this hotel! Hotel exterior and interior clean and modern. Pool inside and outside fantastic. Huge choice of food and drinks. Reception staff are wonderful. Always happy to help with a smile on their face. Bar staff tremendous. Cleaning staff also do a terrific job. Fridges in rooms. Aircon from June to September. Beach is a lovely little cove. Recommend this wholeheartedly. Just remember to be polite and you'll get politeness back! Would love to go back once there is enough pennies in the bank! Lovely memories made this may 2018. Me and my wife love salou. Such a great place to visit. Hotel calypso would definitely stay there again.

Food Drinks Ice Creams (even Magnum and Cornetto) on fully inclusive fantastic. Staff were super amazing and so friendly. Will definitely visit again without hesitation.

Can not say enough good things about this hotel the staff are so efficient really friendly happy and so nice the restaurant and bar staff expecially were really professional and very helpful and good fun all staff was always smiling and ready to offer any help the cleanliness off the hotel was very very good both in the rooms and in the public areas food was great will definitely be back to this hotel as an all inclusive the kids had a wonderful time with so much for them to do here the kids entertainment staff activities and shows were very much enjoyed by them can't wait for our next trip back here
