Great round trip hike. The bridge view point is very nice. The walk is easy along most of the path. There's a small water canal along the route which makes it fun in hot days. The forest is lovely and the views around are lovy too.

This is a surprisingly good / beautiful hike that forms a loop around the Guadalmina River. You can park at the Ermita Virgen del Rosario and the path runs downhill to the south from there (mostly steady grade and easy to walk) to a large bridge at Via Brijan (cross that to the East and pick the trail back up, heading north, on the east side of the river, where the path becomes more hilly). There is a pedestrian bridge to the north of Ermita that allows you to cross over the river.

It is one of the most beautiful trails in the region!
You have to park a car in the large parking lot alongside the road near church. You can start trail from parking side or from the starting point near near a bridge.
The trail is pretty easy level with marks on every corner so you can be sure you are on the right path.
There are several places for a rest or to have a lunch (picnic areas). Pet friendly.

Really beautiful trail. Walk along aqueduct, over canyon. See pistachio and other trees. Serene and peaceful. We did it in early April and were lucky to be blessed with bright sunny day and mid 20s temperatures.

Did it with two kids age 14 and 8. Parked our car in the parking and then took right turn as soon as we got out of parking. As kids got tired we did not do circular route but turned back after 30-35 minutes or so.

After the walk we had our brunch in beautiful little town of Benehavis which is only 5 minutes drive.

One of my favorite trails. Nice and easy, with a great mountain view, with a place for the rest( table and chairs where you can sit and enjoy). You will start and finish the trail at one point. With parking area. There is water under the bridge, you can go down to it and swim if you wish. Trail is 7.6 km

Too 17 people on a light hike. Stopped at the golf club. Cafe for a coffee. A wonderful walk along the water duct. There are a few little steep areas. But flat otherwise. Great trees environment and refreshing to walk near water. Look out for the lion in the tree🤣

Absolutely stunning. We walked through the river from the natural pools further up, a walk which took 4 hours, but would only take 1 or 2 if you don't have bags and stuff to keep dry. Absolutely stunning views and lovely swimming spots

Nice trail, partly shaded and well sign posted with information boards along the way. The car park is very busy but nearly everyone is there to swim not walk.

There is so much to explore, especially if in the company of a botanist. We only made it to the end of the irrigation system. It got too hot, so we turned back.
It is an easy walk, though do wear appropriate footwear as the trail is a bit rocky in places.

This is a very nicely constructed trial that is nearly flat going up to Benahavis. In parts it goes next to and even over an aqueduct and later crosses and then follows a river. It takes about an hour to hike.

An easy to walk mountain trail following an ancient irrigation canal. The views are fantastic with nature at its best. The end of the trail rewards you with a view of the Mediterranean. Tip: you have to park in a designated place that is called La Ermita, about 1/2 km before you reach the wooden bridge, just consult your Google maps.

A great outing with family and friends. Fresh air and exercise for most folks who are not ready for a strenuous hike yet good variety and exertion enough for those who are in reasonably good shape as well. An enjoyable variety of terrain and ecosystems and some well done nature information signs. We didn’t realize how nicely done the walkway was up to the village. Some of us would have enjoyed including that in our walk. Lunch or at least tapas and refreshments highly encouraged there.
