Las Cañas Viejas

It was a nice surprise to find this restaurant with such an obvious yet rare 🌱vegan option - champiñones pil pil! This is just great, must be available in every traditional spanish restaurant!

I also ordered pimientos del padrón and patatas con alioli. Everything was very tasty!

Simply excellent, our family of 4 ate here last week and were so impressed and happy.
We started with a variety of tapas followed by what has to be the best value fillet steak I have had in quite a while.
We finished off with 4 different desserts and all DELICIOUS.
The overriding plus though was the service and welcome! We had service from several people but mostly from a lady from the U.K who's name I didn't get.
A perfect meal from start to finish in the most beautiful surroundings, highly recommended.

Beautiful village restaurant for drinks, food, lovely warm atmosphere and very friendly staff and owner. Just down from the main town road, so don't miss a visit! Highly recommended!

On a short break from walking the south coast of Spain, my wife and I visited the beautiful village of benhavis.
Where we came upon a small plaza encompassing a couple of restaurants.
We decided to sit at Las Cana's Viejas and so glad we did.
I had probably the best English breakfast I had ever had while my wife enjoyed a fluffy mushroom omelette that was delicious.
Drink and staff were excellent too.

Very nice restaurant. Friendly staff. Good portions and not expensive. I would certainly recommend it when you are in the neighbourhood!

Lovely village tapas bar. We tried all the meat tapas dishes and they were great. The curry and meatballs were our favourite. In a word authentic.

Great local place with amazing prices for their daily menu, best location in the Villages, good coffee and top service😃

Food is always amazing. Have been for breakfast, lunch, tapas and dinner over our holiday and the food was consistently good. Friendly servers who engaged with my children to help the meal go smoothly. Worth a vist.

Everting is perfect in this place. Menu del dia always great and prices are really great. Excellent place if you look for proper lunch.

Excellent food, excellent choice of tapas and excellent prices. It's also in a beautiful spot, with very friendly staff. I could eat too much.

Just to update this, I have also just eaten breakfast, and just as with all the other food, the quality and choice is excellent. Vegetarian choices, lots of them, and English breakfast if you fancy it.

My favourite place for Breakfast, its fantastic, always a warm welcome from Carolyn & great choices to choose from , brilliant setting for eating , they do a sensational 3 Course Lunch for less than €10 , strongly recommended.

We dine here all the time breakfast, lunch, tapas and evening meals in the summer, lovely food and Carolyn and her staff are amazing would highly recommend 😋 😎👍
