El Nido del chorro

We stayed at El Nido de Chorro for 1 night for the purpose of completing the Caminito de Rey. El Nido is at the end of the walk, and the Lady who checked us in gave us a detailed map, which was very helpful, and also allowed us to leave our bags until we returned.
The hotel is a lovely property in a scenic location and our room exceeded our expectations, it had a bath which was very welcome after the walk, and included extra pillows which we had requested There was a small table with chairs on our terrace which was lovely to sit out on and enjoy the views.
At dinner we were served by the owner Alex and her son Sal who were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the area and was thoroughly enjoyed by us.
Breakfast in the morning was cooked by the lady who checked us in, and had several choices, but after Alex had recommended their own chicken eggs, I asked for a French omelette which was superb.
Check out was quick and easy, we had a fantastic stay at El Nido de Chorro thank you Alex and Staff.

Very clean, comfortable, accommodation in a rural setting with lovely views. Great location to visit the area including for those walking the 'Caminito del Rey'.
We felt very much at home and were very well seen to by Alex and her two members of staff, namely Leo & Isabel.
Delicious breakfast & dinner, whilst enjoying the view, all at a reasonable price.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay in El Nido Del Chorro, in its dramatic surroundings. Alex was an excellent host and made us feel very welcome. The hotel has great facilities and our room was lovely, looking over to the mountains. We slept very well in our comfortable bed and the pillows we’re the best we’ve experienced. Feeling refreshed, we went down for a lovely breakfast, I had the bacon and lovely eggs from Alex’s chickens. My wife had smoked salmon and avocados on toast, I had a taste and it was really nice. It’s a remote location, great for walking and trekking and good contrast from our last stop in Seville. We will be back, for sure.

We have stayed at El Nido in November 2022 and enjoyed our stay so much that we came back again this year.
The bed is one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in and the room has lots of little extras that make the stay so much more of a treat.
We ate breakfast at the hotel every day and had 3 out of 4 of our evening meals there. The food choices were good and everything was delicious.
We couldn’t fault the service and really felt as if we were treated like friends rather than paying guests because we were made to feel so welcome.
There is so much to do in the area. There are many more walks in addition to the Caminito del Rey. The lake area near the start of the Caminito is stunning. We found somewhere different to explore every day, getting around on the Caminito shuttle bus or by train.

This is the best food we had so far in Spain! The products are locally produced which makes a huge difference.
Alex is a wonderful host and the place had a breathtaking view.
I definitely recommend this place!

An absolute gem of a hotel!!! I’ve visited a few times now and it just gets better! Fresh juice and great coffee in mornings, tasteful wines and sunsets in evenings. Alex the owner is so accommodating and friendly! Beds are comfy and showers are just perfect after a day by the local stunning lakes or walking in mountains. The hotel is stylish. I brought my friends last time and they loved! Thank you thank you thank you!!! Can’t wait to come back xx

Great place to visit after Camenito del Ray ...just 2 minutes from the end of the trail ...with a great view, tasty food and excellent service. 😍😍😍

The owner, their family, and the staff are so unbelievably kind. After checking in, we talked for hours. It was one of the best conversations I've had on my vacation.

The room was spotless, and the view was out of this world. After a long day of climbing, I used the small wading pool for my feet, and just read a book until my train left.

I will be coming back to climb El Charro again with friends and I'm planning on staying here again.

Great location and the perfect base for exploring this wonderful part of Spain. The team at the hotel were genuinely friendly without being intrusive, and they keep the place spotless! The food has a real authentic Spanish feel, and every dish we had was really tasty. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying here, and believe me, I'm quite fussy about where I choose to stay.

Such a fantastic boutique hotel, amazing location, and great staff.

We were 4 adults and 5 children, we stayed for 7days and had a lovely time, food was delicious, great terraces on each floor with superb views. Perfect rooftop pool for late night dips, or for the children to cool off in the daytime, we have booked again for next year.

Visited the restaurant last Tuesday evening, would really have loved to have stayed but they were fully booked, definitely will try again next time!

Just loved this boutique hotel, perfectly located to the 'Kings Walkway' a suspended path along the most stunning mountains and ravines. The view from the Hotel was across to the peaks and provide an impressive backdrop to this lap of luxury. The staff were attentive and couldn't be more helpful, the food was delicious and our room comfortable and very well priced. Its also worth noting it is incredibly well located to the train station, so if you're in Malaga and want the thrill of the mountains, this is a great place to stay, its also the film location for then train scene in Von Ryans Express, so check that out to get a flavour of the country. Couldn't be happier with 'El Nido', definitely up for a return visit!

I stayed here with my partner. Not only are the views just incredible, it’s also so beautiful on the inside. El Chorro needed this fantastic hotel. Very clean. Will definitely be back! We loved it. Ps…the breakfast was delicious!

Alejandro creates a moment of peace, with beautiful rooms and service to boot. Friendly, informative and humorous, she made us feel at home instantly. It is a small hotel, but feels like luxury when you arrive. A must visit for tourists and locals alike. If I could give ten stars I would! Thank you for making my stay so special!

We had a beautiful room with stunning views, wonderful terrace with cool plunge pool.
The food was excellent, and really enjoyed the homemade pizzas.

Really lovely little hotel with bright clean rooms and fantastic views of the mountains that the area is famous for. Convenient for the Caminito del Rey, and an easy drive from nearby Malaga. I loved this area and will definitely be booking another visit soon!

Great views of Frontales. Comfy rooms with all the amenities. Very friendly staff.

It’s a perfect place even for one night to do Caminito del Rey; just a minutes from its exit. And then rest on a great bed with lovely linens watching Netflix or on a terrace with the most magnificent view of forest and mountains with free drink, nespresso coffe or tee. Very convenient from a train station with minimum luggage as there is all you need- toiletries, bathrobes, slippers. Absolutely will recommend.

What a place. The views from the balcony are awesome. The place is spotless clean. Very well run and the dinner I had was delicious. I loved my stay in there. Thank you.
