La Estación De El Chorro

The best place in town! A sweet spot under the sun for a cold beer and a very tasty tortilla Francesa or Queso! The lady was so nice and welcoming. I marked this spot for tomorrow's breakfast as well... Ohhh and it's just in front of the bus station.

The place is a gem, especially when there are not that many choices in the area. The staff are kind and the food and prices are great. I tried the tortilla too and was not as impressed as with the bocadillos, which were fantastic, perhaps because they were made by different people. Opening times were not definite, they said to me they stay open if there are people.

A small bar next to the station allows you to spend the necessary waiting time for the arrival of the train. To go to Malaga there are two trains in the afternoon around 3pm and 7pm. The only train that arrives in the morning is around 10am, leaving Malaga.

Ate delicious sandwiches and a cappuccino here in 2017 and I still think about them today.

Great place for a cheap beer after the Caminito. Nice setting at a railway station where still trains are running to Sevilla and Malaga.

Has this got the most scenic station in Europe. A lovely bar on the platform. Well worth a day trip if staying in Malaga or the Costa del Sol
Even if not doing the Caminito del Ray, El Chorro is well worth a visit.

Amazing place with great food, coffee and beer. Location is very convenient with bus stop, train station and parking right in front of the terrace. Staff is super friendly. Highly recommended!

Very delicious bocadillas (3.5eur for a big one), friendly staff, definitely worth to stop after the hike.

Lovely little pit-stop with deliciously grilled sandwiches. Didn't eat one but the salad looked good too

Probably the best place to relax and grab a bite yo eat while in the caminito del rey area. food is reasonably priced and taste great.

Great place before or after climbing. I can recommend the great coffee and amazing Spanish style hamburgers.
