Fantastic restaurant for authentic food at a reasonable price!

Recommend reserving a table here, especially on weekends, when we were at our table a number of people came but all tables were either reserved or full unfortunately.

We had the scrambled eggs with asparagus and ham and the ham hock. Both were beautiful and some of the best food I have ever had.

Staff were friendly and welcoming even with our broken Spanish. Had such a lovely time and returning has been put on our bucket list

The food here was very delicious. Didn't really know what to get. Ended up ordering Gambas al ajillo (watch out those chilies are spicy), Manchego, and Sartén de la casa (the best dish we ate). We also got some fried potatoes to get some food into our picky daughters. Definitely would recommend.

Didn't try special food in Cuenca, but Had normal menu Del dia with salad, grilled chicken with potatos and tinto de verano and cafe for 10€ in total! very valuable place to eat! It's popular usually full during eating hours.
Services are good too! Worth trying.

Local place with lovely food. 100% recommendable. All the waiters were lovely and super helpful, and recommended the best of the best local foods. I have been to lot of bars/restaurants in Cuenca and this one was by far the best.

I ordered judías blancas with almejas, bacalao de la casa y tiramisu. At the end of the lunch, I wished I had more space in my belly because everything was great and I wanted to have more. And everything is freshly cooked and any other restaurant would charge you double the price. I highly recommend it.

This is off the beaten track. A beautiful little restaurant with very friendly owners and staff. The food is traditional and full of flavour. We had the menu del día which was well priced with amazing options and perfect for a big lunch. Would be back for sure next time I'm in Cueca!

A small little restaurant, with an amazing selection of delicious local foods! The staff is super friendly, and the environment is great! Came here for a lunch menu del día, as well as for a full dinner - both of which were spectacular! I would eat here every day if I could!

Nice food and people. Very good beer! Just one small suggestion, clean the foam on the ground in order to avoid accidentally falling into someone's plate.

Great food, lively atmosphere (we were there on a Friday night), good prices, friendly/rushed staff and great wine. Highly recommend eating there.

Si quieres disfrutar de comida casera, de buena calidad y un buen ambiente, debes ir sin lugar a duda. Fui con dos amigas, tienen comida típica de allí, Gazpacho Pastor muy recomendable. Probé el queso plancha y me encantó. De todo lo que pedimos no nos dejamos nada.
Respecto a los postres, me encantó la tarta de la abuela, la tarta de queso estaba buena, pero me gusta más al horno, así que si te gusta como a mí, al horno, pide la tarta de abuela u otro de los postres caseros que tienen, es una carta muy amplia.

Los camareros muy atentos y amables.

Todo genial. Me encantaron los platos típicos de Cuenca. El zarajo estaba para repetir, y la ración no es pequeña. Servicio muy atento también. Recomendable, de hecho repetiríamos mañana mismo.

Mesón súper recomendable. La comida está buenísima, los trabajadores son estupendos y el sitio es acogedor. Pedimos el zarajo lechal, el gazpacho pastor y las chuletitas de lechal. Tanto el zarajo como las chuletitas se pueden pedir por unidad. Los 3 platos estaba muy ricos. Y de postre las tortitas (vienen dos) y unas natillas. Se nota que todo es casero y está muy bueno.
Recomiendo venir tanto para comer como para cenar.
