The visit was AMAZING!!! our guide, Thomas Bullon was incredibly helpful and friendly...he told us his great grandfather was the one that discovered the cave which made the tour even more fun.
The hike up can be hard to some but it's more than worth it, the cave and the paintings are extremely well preserved as the visits are limited per day to preserve the cave as much as possible..keep that in mind before heading there i recommend calling beforehand. We were lucky enough to have a guided group of only 5

This cave is a must see if you're in the Ronda area!

Totally amazing cave system, unprecedented access, and so incredible to be face to face with 38000 year old cave paintings! Quite slippery under foot, so good shoes recommended.... We weren't supposed to take photos, but sorry, I couldn't resist! (I did it with no flash though...)

Absolutely amazing view into last 30k years of mankind. Almost no tourist there. A guide (in Spanish and English) was perfect. He even didn't hesitate to reopen the cave during ongoing visit and return for two delayed people. Thanks a lot for all information given!

Walk into the cave holding lanterns surrounded by the darkness, and be absolutely astonished by the neolithic artwork! The owners of this cave network are very consciously caring for the environmental integrity of this space. It's really a special opportunity to visit this powerful place.

We loved this place. We were fortunate to have only 2 others in the group, This meant we could relax and enjoy the tour, and ask lots of questions, which our guide was happy to answer.
Short from that, the cave is awesome, the paintings and artifacts incredible, and the history interesting.
Definitely worth the drive and the €10

Despite our small group, you should book in advance. The guide left after our tour as nobody had booked in.

Not to be missed if you like history. To top that this is managed by the descendants of the man who discovered the cave on his farm. Check out the website. NOTE: DO NOT USE GOOGLE OR YOUR CAR GPS. Both not up to date. Ask a local for directions. We ended up in small village church. Not good. You need to reserve by phone.j

This is the best cave tour I have had - no artificial light show or background music, narrow passages and slippery steps - it is option to see the cave as it is. This is a rare option to see tens of thousands years old paintings - the contemporary art of that time =)
Make sure to call beforehand and book your visit - you can enter the cave only accompanied by guide.

Amazing cave. Incredible guide - so well informed, not only about the cave itself, but also other caves around the planet and other related ancient knowledge. Be respectful ro rules (no photos), ask questions, and you'll be amazed what a stunning place you you have a possibility to be in.

Imagining people living there in so adverse conditions thousands of years ago is overwhelmingly touching, I recommend watching the stars the very same day.

Note: before arrival you need to call them and inform that you plan to visit - otherwise they go home which is pretty common sense as sometimes there are no tourists at all.

A one of a kind experience. One of the biggies when talking about a neolithic time period etc. The stalagmites are some of the most impressive. Can only see by phone reservation.

Excellent tour, excellent (English speaking) guide, great value for money. Two hours going through galleries seeing genuine neolithic cave paintings. Floor can be slippery, and not recommended for people with mobility issues. Thoroughly enjoyed our tour.

So amazing to get to see ~40,000 year old cave paintings. Very rarely possible! The guide gives tours in English and Spanish and he was super knowledgeable and energetic!

Guided cave tour. Guide was a professional, he told us a lot of interesting information about the cave and its history.
Definitely worth the entry price.
Tour takes about 70mins, it occurs probably twice a day. Temperature inside the cave is about 15°C. You can't take any pictures or videos inside - it harms the bats living there.

Best caves that I have visited. Authentic experience with erudite and interested guide and not spoiled by artificial lighting, music or having to see replicas of the artwork.
A really magical experience for all the kids aged 4-13 who enjoyed holding the lanterns and winding their way through the slippery passages with the occasional bat bolting out of the cave above.
The caves are a constant 15 degrees so the experience provided some respite from the Summer heat. A visit that’s well worth the detour (with a stunning drive to boot!)

Really detailed tour with a very enthusiastic tour guide. Considering spanish was his first language he tried really hard/really well as most of my group spoke English!
Obviously no photos of inside of cave due to conservation but have a picture of a cute herd of goats we saw on the way up and the view 📸

Yes, it is hard to communicate with the team ahead of time, but this is because they spend most of the time guiding inside the cave. The place is absolutely worth seeing, the guide shares good stories and explanations, you spend quite a lot of time inside, and see amazing parts of human history.

Booking in advance is essential; do confirm their availability as they do not operate at all time slots.

It is one of the very few caves in the world that has well-preserved human drawings in caves dating back up to 45,000 years ago. I personally think being able to witness these historic memories in their natural settings made this experience more valuable than any other sort of cave experience I've ever had. Highly recommend!

I have to also mention the tour guide, who spoke absolutely good English and gave a very interesting walk in the cave!

We were blown away by the visit of this cave! As indicated on the website, we called between 10 am and 1 pm and booked our slots. The young woman guiding our visit made sure she repeated the information in both Spanish and English for us few international visitors. She made use of a very sophisticated way using shadow and light to point at important cave paintings and explain their interpretation. The amount of information was just right - enough to understand what we were looking at but concise enough not to feel overloaded. Additionally, we were positively surprised by the length of the tour and the fact that every two visitors get a small lantern with no unnecessary floodlights inside the cave. Thanks to some limited knowledge of Spanish we could decipher the website and knew what to do, but an English version of the website would definitely be a good thing. Depending on personal preference, bringing a thin sweater might be worth a consideration.
We tremendously enjoyed this experience!

That was amazing. Huge, dark, virgin, not devastated cave. Sightseeing with flashlight, more than 1h in total. On top of that drawings of primitive people.
One minus - the guide was not English-spiking, just Spanish... Maybe it is to organise...
You need to reserve visit in advance. Phone number on website.
Quite big parking place and 5 minutes walk/easy trekking to cave gate.
Enjoy
