Good parking. Easy walk, no need of trekking skills, just hard to come back. I little bit risky go inside the cave but worth it. Come with some river shoes.

Breathtaking!
The cave is huge and you can walk straight in as long as you have light. It is not guarded in any way, just a sign that says "no trespassing". The rocks on the bottom are slippery and of course there might be something dropping on your head from the walls or the ceiling 60 meters above. Anyway there were a couple more persons and a family with kids inside, so just take your own risk.

The cave continues all the way to the other entrance, main way being 4km long. It is really an experience just to stare into the absolute darkness a little way in from the opening, surrounded by solid rock.

The area is nice for watching birds, seeing the dam, walking.. but it is a LOT of climbing up and down if you go and see all. The stairs that go down to the cave are not in good condition and the railing is broken here and there. So take care. Definitely worth the sweat though.

This is a massive cave, take a torch. You can walk into it comfortably for about 100m. After that you will need to book a place on one of their cave experiences, where you walk/swim the full 4km underground. However you need to be reasonable fit to reach the cave as you have to descend a lot of steep steps to get to it and back. The dam is worth a look see to.

A spectacular cave to walk into ! The height is impressive, the quietness and darkness also.
To get there, you’ll need to go down the 501 steps descending from “embalse de Montejaque” (the nearby dam) to the entrance is the cave.
Just before the cave, take a look at “el ano del Diablo” (the “devil’s anus” ! 😅) which is a long closed dried well.
Once in the cave, going inside and visiting it is subjected to permission, and only with licensed guide. Nevertheless it’s a great place to go see, even from the outside

A spectacular and very large cave. Easy access with nice paths, but a bit of a workout on the way up. At the time of our visit it was not possible to access the dam though.

We went on a Wednesday afternoon at 12pm in June. Weather was perfect. We walked all the way down and back again without seeing a single soul. Very peaceful. Just us and the gigantic birds.

This is an excellent place to visit. Not a lot of people, breathtaking views. If you plan on going a few steps into the cave, take a strong flashlight with you.

Dope cave and cool suspension bridge. If you are a climber bring your harness and a PAS and avoid the hike up via ferratta.

We did this hike early in the morning and there was no one else around. The first half of the trail is relatively flat and easy. The descent down to the cave is via steep steps but was also easy. The cave was amazing, certainly the largest one that we've ever seen. The climb back up the steps was the hardest part of this hike and perhaps is not recommended for anyone that is not fit?

This is truly an amazing place. Do visit it - but be warned: the descent is very steep. Great opportunity to see Griffin Vultures nesting in grottos at the mountainside. Spectacular cave!

Very beautiful cave, at the time was not supposed to enter as someone was lost there. It's an impressive experience, this must be where the inspiration for cathedrals originated. If you get deeper you will first need flashlights and deeper still ropes and climbing gear are required. Expect birds bats owls and water

Beautiful place, definitely worth to visit. Not long walk from the parking spot. Amazing mountains and huge cave. If you are in Ronda it’s a must see place :)

Loved these caves, we did the whole cave complex and it was great. It's an awesome experience but you need your own gear like wetsuits, dry bags, lights and harnesses.

Amazing place, the cave is giant inside! The way up and down is mostly in acceptable condition (gravel and stairs), but quite steep. Worth it!
