Hotel Lux Melide

Rooms were clean. Beds were comfy, and best of all was the service! We were taken care of by the front desk staff and by Leslie at dinner. Leslie is a ray of sunshine and she made sure we had everything we needed for dinner. The food was good too. After walking 25 miles that dinner was everything we needed and more.

I would stay here again.

A very nice modern hotel in the middle of the center of the town of Melide. You are in the walking distance to supermarket, pharmacies, and good restaurants, and banks and shopping areas. The check-in was smooth and fast and some of the staff can speak English if your Spanish is bad. There is only one elevator and the rooms are very comfortable with modern thermostats to change the temperature in the room. The dinner and breakfast at the hotel is very good, it is buffet style. There is also an outdoor patio with a food truck.

Great hotel. Quite enjoyed my stay there. Impeccably decorated and everything worked perfectly.

The room was very clean and comfy. The air conditioner automatically heats or cools to get to a stable temperature. The shower is also perfect to relax you after a day of walking.

Great hotel, central location close to the historic plaza, and passed along the Camino trail. The room is clean and fresh. The staff are all very helpful. Breakfast served at the cafe next door, and is open early for the early start for the day's Camino. Also added bonus of an in house self service laundry, and for a few Euros and about two hours, you can clean and refresh your clothes.

Fantastic place with very comfortable and quiet rooms and delicious food served on-site. Enjoyed a lovely buffet dinner and breakfast. The waitress was warm and friendly and able to explain everything in English. The reception staff were very helpful and welcoming too. Great central location on the Camino walk and close to shops, church etc

A stop during the Camino on bikes and we were greeted by a wonderful host who helped us from the beginning to the end. The accommodation was extremely clean and welcoming. The bed was so comfortable. We could not fault the place or the staff. Very recommended.

Lovely, well located hotel. Great rooms and breakfast.Even has a food truck for coffee and drinks on the first floor outside. Quality wifi connection.

The gentleman at the desk was so helpful. He was very kind and helpful after I had taken a fall on the street- charged my phone, called a taxi, advised on pharmacy etc. Would have recommended this hotel as the best value for money and excellent location. Really clean and had everything we needed.

So welcoming, even when we arrived early. Anything we needed, including wine glasses and a bottle corked was so positively accommodated. Breakfast was the best! with very helpful and friendly staff.

Had a fabulous one night stay on the Camino Norte/Primitivo. Excellent room. Though the air conditioning could be cooler. Good bar and a very nice breakfast. Lovely staff. Nice terrace out back and a food truck. Laundry on-site too.
Highly recommend.

Fantastic place to stay. Outstanding service, always very accomodating and with impeccable attention to detail. Spacious rooms and even more voluminous restrooms. It is conveniently located right in the middle of the city with easy access to over three major supermarkets.

Precious place to stay in Melide and recover energy before going to the French route to Santiago. Super new hotel, great rooms and staff.

Comfy bed and pillows, plush towels (esp the foot towel which is heaven after walking the Camino), coffee machine in-room, self-service washer and dryer in house for a good rate of €4 each all at a good reasonable rate. A treat for those looking for that occasional splurge along the Camino.

Excellent hotel in the right place! Nice people. Recommend with all my 💓! 6 stars out of five. The breakfast was amazing.
