The best place we stayed on our holiday. Fabulous. Wonderful building with super rooms. Great food in the restaurant too.
The only downside is that there is no outdoor space to relax and enjoy the sunshine, however there is an indoor pool.

Absolutely stunning hotel. Located in a small town in the Asturias mountains. Old monastery (actually the third largest monastery in Spain). Tastefully renovated and reasonably priced. Don't miss the library. Also located next to a small winery with some odd varieties that's worth a short visit.

It is impossible not to love every aspect of this wonderful converted monastery. From the minute you step in the door you experience the quality, the attention to detail and the visual beauty of this most unique Parador - it is truly outstanding.

Although it is a formal hotel the staff without exception are helpful, kind and friendly. They went out of their way to make us comfortable. I think it is true that it was their spirit that makes the Parador truly special.

Nearby Cangas de Narcea is a lively, friendly and slightly crazy rural town with a nice market, a beautiful church in the square and bars and places to eat. It’s a busy town with good shops - some of them long established and unchanged. Most especially was the sense that the children here are among the happiest in Spain - something that speaks volumes about the local community who don’t pander to tourists but do treat visitors with friendliness and an easy, informal hospitality.

Hidden away in the mountains. The food is absolutely fantastic. Having been in a lot of Parador hotels I would put this one as serving the best food. The service in the bar and the restaurant was very good.

The place is an old monastery which still maintains some of the old look, the rooms are very big and clean, the bed is amazing, very comfortable and all the services are very good. The stuff is súper nice and attentive. The breakfast amazing, the Benedictine eggs as well although the churros are not so good. They have a acclimatised pool and a spa. They offer a free guided tour of the place and if you want to see the church as well you need to pay 5 euros. I think it worth it not only for the church but for the explanation the guide was providing and her way of telling the stories. Very interesting and funny!

Totally gorgeous hotel with attentive staff but a very relaxed vibe. The spa is fantastic and the communal spaces are beautiful. We could have stayed longer.

I have stayed in some paradors around Spain and really enjoy each of them for a particular reason. This parador is just magical and utterly excellent in every way possible. The hotel itself is extremely beautiful located in a historic Monasterio. It captures the essence of feeling peaceful and exactly a place you would want to stay in Asturias.

From the moment my wife and I entered we were met with such a great feeling which remained with us throughout the entire stay. I like nice hotels and even though I book them I'm often not in them much except to sleep because I want explore the areas and attractions. This hotel made you not want to leave. We explored every inch of the hotel, finding beautiful things about it one after another. It really was incredible.

The room we had was big, super comfortable with modern amenities but was able to still make you feel you were staying in such an historic place. The bed, bathroom were great.

The restaurant was also excellent. The design was very modern yet fit perfectly somehow so whomever designed hit it out of the park. The food and service at the restaurant was also very good.

The hotel service was stellar. The front desk personnel were so friendly and helpful with all my many questions and requests for recommendations. I will point out one person in particular named Belen, I hope I spelled it correctly. She should be promoted to the managing the entire hotel. She was always there working with a big smile, friendly words and excellent recommendations. The service she provided was more on par with a super exclusive 5 star hotel. I had to mention her because she made our trip so meaningful with awesome memories my wife and I will always cherish from the places she sent us. Great job Belen!

If you want to experience something almost indescribable and really special, do yourself a favor and visit this parador. If I could rate it more than 5 stars I would.

We stayed in early May 2018. Besides the stunning countryside and nearby town , the monastery is a brilliant transition to a hotel , our room was bigger than the 1 bedroom apartment we live in , fantastic space , beautiful bathroom, and bedroom facing road with river running the other side, huge Juliet balcony, and whilst the road is a main road wasn’t bothered by any noise during 2 midweek day stay. Bar good, restaurant FAB, and staff absolutely friendly and efficient

We stayed her May 24-26. 2019. Very nice accommodations and high service levels. Great historic building and associated church, but not a lot of other things to see in the area. Nonetheless, was well worth the stay.

An excellent welcome awaits your arrival. Friendly staff with excellent English (I speak enough Spanish to get by) .

The building is beyond impressive and the rooms are more than you could possibly wish for from a hotel.

I will definitely return here, given the opportunity.

Huge and very modern rooms while respecting the monastery facades and interiors. Great prices provided the accommodation and services quality. Not close but at a walkable distance to Cangas de Narcea center.

Superb! One of the best Paradors that I have stayed. The furniture is contemporary and pleasant while still in keeping with the historic buildings.

The rooms are large and modern - really posh! It felt like a 5 star hotel! The bathrooms have baths and separate showers and separate toilets, with plenty of towels.

The dining experience was on par with many top restaurants. Will certainly come and stay here again. If only other Paradors were refreshed in the same manner!

The restaurant is nice, with traditional dishes mixed with more modern and minimalist proposals. Kind service always focused in the customer. A must if you visit this wonderful area in Asturias close to river Narcea!

I had been to 11 Paradores this year (2022) as of this writing, including Segovia and Santiago. I have to say Parador de Corias is the most beautiful, serene, comfortable to stay in. I stayed on Oct 20 and Oct 21, 2022 in room 333.

Notably, Señorita Ana from the reception was most helpful during our stay. Kindly send our appreciation to Miss Ana. She makes the difference between a 4.5 and a 5 rating for the Paradores.

Cheers, couple from Singapore.

Spectacular Parador in Asturias. The staff were attentive, rooms were sumptuous and beautifully decorated and the restaurant is capable. This parador is perfect for getting away! It’s even better than the photos.

This Parador opened just a few years ago and was a former monastry. It's location in the valley next to the road is not very appealing, but the interior of the huge building and the rooms are simply spectacular. Just walking to your room through the endless corridors is an experience and for the tirst time we had a bath consisting of 3 (!) rooms. Wonderful Spa. All integrated into the old structure with perfect taste. Service was very good. So if you happen to pass by Cangas de Narcea, spend a night here just for the flair of this wounderful Parador.
