Medieval village in the mountains north of BCN. Though not historically significant for any particular reason, Rupit is quiet, quaint, beautiful and loaded with fabulous dining options. With the drive to escape BCN for the day.

Gorgeous small little quaint town with narrow streets and cobbles with lots of lovely little shops,.
The buildings and houses are fabulous and unique.
A rope bridge connects both side of this love little place with a river that runs between both sides of the village.
It's very much a tourist attraction and you have to pay to park in the carpark before entering on foot.
Well worth visiting

A beautiful medieval town, with easy to walk narrow stoney streets, a nice little river and green woods that surround the town.
There is a decent amount of places to eat, with style, food and price variety.
Definitely recommend to do a day visit!

We had a very nice day out in Rupit. The village is amazing with small shops, bars and restaurant. You have a picnic area on the parking lot. The trecks are truly amazing. Not so much water at this time of the year but will definetly come back.

That's a fantastic picturesque village is a gem! That cozy village has good people, nice buildings, and very few tourists. It's the best to see the village if you come there after hike along the cliff with waterfalls.

Very beautiful little village with kind and happy people. One should definitely explore their home-made alcoholic beverages. I bought a ton as it was so good. The food was amazing. The village takes you back in history as if nothing has changed.

Such a great little gem, hidden between the mountains. The small village was extraordinarily preserved, taking you right back in time to medieval. The new buildings are constructed/designed in the same style, so there is no visible difference. Honestly this place is magical, with narrow rocky streets and small cafes around. The views from the church are amazing, overlooking the river..it's also closely located from the waterfall, which is breathtaking. Feels like you're at the end of the world. Definitely worth going there!

Can't express how much I liked that place. It takes time to get the, but worth that. Nearly no people - not just tourists, but at all. Very quiet and picturesque. Narrow, curved streets and ancient stone buildings. Liked a lot!
