My favorite restaurant in Segovia 💖
I highly recommend the Menu option and ordering the famous cochinillo 🐷 dish and for dessert, the Ponche Segoviano or Candle Dessert 🍨! The workers are very attentive and kind. We were served by Angel and his colleague who were so great.

We had lunch here ordering the set menu with a starter, a main, a dessert plus wine and water. I tried the soup (traditional style) which was served by the waiter bringing in a large bowl and scooped the soup from the big bowl into my bowl, an interesting way to serve. My wife had the potato with pork. Both starters tasted good and hearty. For main dish we both had the suckling pig, which was freshly cooked, with crispy skin and tender meat. So tasty and satisfying. The 2 desserts (Especialistas en Ponche Segoviano, elaborado con huevos camperos el palomar y lecge Mesenor (Carbonero el Mayor) & Milhojas de queso fresco Mesenor con tejas de vainilla y chocolate, elaboradas con claras de huevos camperos el Palomar) were light and yummy, completing the whole dinning experience perfectly.

If you wanna eat at a great price and enjoy one of the best restaurants in Segovia Asador David is your place. We had the cochinillo and was delicious. I would add more flavor to it but I loved it. Don’t fall for the Meson next to the acueducto.

We are very lucky to find this restaurant. Although it is located very close to the mainstream, a bit hidden coz you need to go downstairs a bit. The waiters are very friendly and efficient. Only menu course available, we choose the starters-traditional soup and egg nest in cream with black truffle,very yummy! Main dish, no doubt went with Cochinillo asado, roasted skin was amazingly crispy! Plus desserts, really wonderful lunch with adorable price, highly recommend 5 stars!

I had a lovely meal here on my last night in Segovia; I wanted to end my stay with something "local" and I'm so glad I stumbled across this place. The food was perfectly cooked and excellently seasoned allowing the ingredients to shine naturally (I had the house specials, judiones de la granja and cochinillo, plus a deconstructed tarta de queso). The service was attentive -- the head waiter keeping a close eye on everything and making sure I understood the coursed menu -- as well as professional and warm. The outside dining is cleverly situated on a stairway so it's a unique dining experience, tucked away a bit but with the awareness of the city above and below. There's also an inconspicuous bar at the bottom of the stairs if before or after-dinner drinks are in order. Highly recommend!

The sucking pig and bean soup (lunch set) were very delicious. Must try! The service was good especially thanks for the tallest waiter for serving us. He was friendly and helpful.

After our last fiasco, we came here as the reviews were significantly better. We were quickly shown our seats and given bread. We all ordered the suckling baby pig, potato soup, and the punch cake. The pig was very soft, but a little bland. The soup was amazing and so was the dessert. For the price you can't beat what we received. The wine hits hard as well. Next time I'll try something other than the pig.

This restaurant is not on the main Street and therefore it's not a tourist trap... It's the perfect place to go to try the local specialty (cochinillo) that is a baby roast pig. We had the set menu that was so good and highly recommend. We sat outside but they also have lots of seating inside. A visit here should be part of your visit.

My husband & I had had set lunches, three to five options for each course, price was €19.9 only. The starter my husband had was a stuffed peppers, excellent choice. We chose barbecue pig & lamb as main course. Wonderful pig, the skin was so crispy and inside so tender and juicy. The lamb was also very yummy. The dessert cake was also good, not so sweet which we like. Overall, it's a good place to go for excellent food. Highly recommended.

Love this restaurant. My kids did two, I wanted the pig and I found it. In a alley under the big view but it was perfect for our family.

You order food from a set menu here. They give you appetizer, main course, dessert and wine with your meal for a set price. Servers were very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious. Definitely recommend.

Lovely place, amazing food.

Good food and great atmosphere, but the service was painfully slow. Our meal (soup, pig and dessert) took over 2 hours. The waiter was friendly but clearly overworked.

This place is a MUST visit when in Segovia!From the cochinillo to dessert everything was delicious and the servers were so nice. 100% recommended

I give it 5 stars for the excellent menu. But I must admit that service was slow and could be improved.

We had a lovely meal here yesterday to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday. The waiting staff were all wonderful and they made a special effort to make him feel really special by playing Happy Birthday and presenting him with a candle in his dessert! Thank you so much! 😊

Go here for their judiones de la granja and the cochinillo. Both are made exquisitely well and the friendly service adds to the great experience.

Soups were amazing and generous portions and we had a great time.

We were looking for a quiet restaurant offering traditional Spanish food and were attracted by the comments other people had posted. And we weren't disappointed. We had a Castilian soup named 'Judones de la Granes' and 'Conchinillo asado' and they were delicious. Try the dessert they're offering. The waiters are a show, particularly Oscar who is such a warm-hearted person. So if you go to this wonderful and impressive old city don't miss out on this great restaurant.

What a wonderful experience. The pork is superb!
