Mesón Darling

My partner and I had a fantastic lunch here. Very friendly place, accommodating, and all the dishes we tried were excellent. Fair value too! A great choice in Cuenca!

My husband and I had dinner here today and we really enjoyed it. We had the roasted vegetable platter, bread, ajoarriero and flan. Everything was fresh and delicious. I also had a beer which came with a complimentary tapa.
Service was friendly and efficient. Credit cards are accepted.
There are only a few tables available as well as a bar area. We arrived for dinner as soon as they opened at 8pm but the place quickly filled up a short while later.

Total recommendation, had dinner here twice (returned after the gorgeous first time and decided we HAD to come back), everything was very very good. When we were about to order too much, we were kindly warned to revise our order. We had grilled pork fillet with baked potatos and grilled vegetables the first night, fried knuckle of pork with home fried potatoes and grilled green peppers and a game stew with liver amd bay leaf typical of Cuenca ("Morteruelo"), as well as organic red wine from the region. These were the best dinner experiences we had on this trip through Spain.

The food & the price are both too good. I felt very sorry that we couldn’t finish the pork potato dish because the amount is insane... see photo below

Great Spanish restaurant that seemed popular with locals. Waiter really friendly esp with our limited Spanish - would highly recommend.

If you want real Spanish food, is the place, I didn't find many good places like this in Cuenca

Went here to watch the world cup and it was a great time. Lots of food and drink options and service was fantastic. The waitress was super friendly and helpful despite there being 12 of us. The food was great too, super flavorful with lots….

Lovely authentic restaurant with delicious local kitchen. Very generous portions and extremely good value. Service excellent too.

We had breakfast here and it was really good. The cheese was spectacular and I asked if we could buy some but they said it was supplied only for them which is acceptable. We will go back there next time in Cuenca.

We enjoyed an excellent meal at Meson Darling. Delicious, fresh and served with a smile. Highly recommended.

Amazing restaurant food was really good, i enjoy eating Rabo de toro. Anytime am in Spain again I will definitely visit Meson Darling restaurant.
