Cute experience. Good for photos/kids. Town was painted blue to commemorate the 2011 live action Smurfs movie. Not much here though besides blue buildings. Good place for a quick 30 minute detour while visiting Ronda, Igualeja, and Sentinel. Pretty touristy town, so the food ain't great and a bit pricey.

Schöner Aussichtsplattform auf das blaue Dorf Jûzcar. Ein Besuch dieses malerischen Dorfes lohnt sich. Alle Häuser sind blau und dienten einst als Filmkulisse für einen Schlumpf Film. Das Blau der Häuser ist leider in den letzten Jahren etwas verblichen.

Wioska Smerfòw położona dosyć wysoko na bardzo górzystym terenie. Niebieskie domki robią naprawdę duże wrażenie. Wioska jest oddalona od innych miejscowości ładnych parę kilometrów. Można poczuć się tam jak w innym świecie. Zwłaszcza polecam zabrać tam dzieciaki, długo o tym miejscu nie zapomną.

Desde este enclave podemos divisar todo el municipio de la aldea azul la cual desde hace unos años ha echo popular a este nucleo poblacional por contar con todas las edificaciones del municipio de color celeste.

Un pueblo que en su día se hizo famoso por pintar sus casas de azul y ser conocido como el pueblo pitufo. Posiblemente hoy los lugareños estén cansados de tanto dominguero.

En noviembre es muy bonita toda esta zona, el cambio de color de los castaños proporciona unas vistas fantásticas.

Estupendo lugar para unas fotos pero de mirador no tiene mucho... Es un hueco muy pequeño que lo han puesto el nombre de mirador y casi te caes por un barranco...

About Júzcar
Village in Spain

Júzcar is a village and municipality in the province of Málaga, part of the autonomous community of Andalusia in southern Spain. It is situated in the east of province in the Valle del Genal. The municipality is situated approximately 22 kilometres from Ronda and 113 from the provincial capital of Málaga. It belongs to the comarca of Serranía de Ronda. The village had been one of the White Villages of Andalusia, with buildings traditionally whitewashed. In spring 2011, buildings in the village were painted blue by Sony España to celebrate the premiere of the Smurfs movie. Approximately 4,000 litres of paint were used. source
