Caballos La Querencia

My 12yo daughter and I who both ride at home booked a 2hr hack. Fernando let us amble along for the first half enjoying the scenery and getting used to our horses. Once he could see my daughter was confident we got to canter and do some off trail riding on the way home. Beautifull peaceful and relaxed place with very happy horses and dogs. Everyone was lovely and welcoming and kindly booked us a taxi too after our hack.

I' ll never forget this experience and really want to come back. Fernando was an amazing owner to help out my family to fully enjoy this trial. He was friednly, kind and very considerate. My family had no exprience of riding horses and I was really worried about my 7 year old son. But Fernando prepared a nice small horse for him so that he didn't have to be scared of. And tried to make us feel comfortable, which was successful. And the scenery where he led us was epic!!!! Since I was on the horse I couldn't take pictures well , so the ones I uploaded don't show the spectacular scenery well enough. But sometimes I close my eyes and think about the moment when I was there. It's unforgettable. And I think it's all thanks to Fernando.

A wonderful experience. First time I've ridden a horse, and it was great. We went down into the gorge of Monachil with spectacular views. My horse was well behaved, and we had good instructions before leaving. Highly recommended.

We had the most amazing ride in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada. The horses are well behaved, surefooted, very well cared for and safe. Fernando is the best guide ever. Extremely knowledgeable of the terrain, speaks perfect English and was great company. We also enjoyed beers and the best tapas ever. We are most definitely going back there soon 👌🏾❤🏇🏇🏇

We had an fantastic time on this trek with Fernando! I have experience riding but my boyfriend had never been on a horse before and was a bit nervous. Fernando put him at ease and they had a horse who was really well suited to beginners. Beautiful views around the countryside in Monachil, we will definitely come back again! Gracias!

This was exactly what I wanted for me and my young son, a real life horse ride in the mountains. I had not ridden before, my son only twice. Fernando was very patient, safe and helpful with us. We just rode through the mountains, it was perfect! My suggestions, take some water and suncream.

We had such as beautiful day with Fernando and his horses Fakir and Alladin. We only had little experience with horseriding and Fernando made sure we felt safe all the time. The horses are very well trained and maintained. I can only recommend visiting him!

Me and my daughter had a great experience riding with Fernando and his very fine Arabs and lovely dogs through the Sierra Nevada. Breathtaking views that I will never forget. Fernando was very kind and flexible with us, wanting to provide what was best for us. Very nice to meet people like him when travelling.

Amazing horses, beautiful mountains just next to Granada❤

We had a wonderful ride with Fernando and his very sweet horses. We already knew the monachil nature from hiking there, but seeing the views on horseback added a next level to its beauty! We will definitely come back for a longer ride in the future!
