Bar-Restaurante El Casino

My second time in Villafranca and the only bar/cafe I use.
The cod dish is beautiful, the staff very patient when I don't speak Spanish.

Absolutely and without any doubt the BEST food we had during our Camino. The service was slow, as anywhere in Spain, but it was so worth it. So sad we just passed through the town.

I actually never leave any feedback. So this is an exception. Because everybody should know this place has the best burger with bacon cheese in the whole world. And I’m the foodie. Literally the best !

On a Tuesday in April '22 the two restaurants we were recommended were closed. How happy I am now this led us to eat at El Casino. On the camino for 28 days this was the best value meal of our trip. It was really good home cooking .. peas w bacon, morcilla w eggs, veal stew & a really nice piece of sole. A bottle of the local vino, flans & coffee for less than €30 .. how lucky were. Service & beer was good too.
Peregrinos you won't regret stopping here.

En el comedor interior se está muy a gusto. Los platos son muy abundantes y sirven comida muy muy rica. Además, de precio está genial. La atención es muy agradable. Nos invitaron al postre. Todo muy bien y una cena muy agradable. Ensalada de brotes, cecinas, calamar y hamburguesa de vaca buenísimo todo.

Excelente atención, gente de pueblo con alma de grandes personas. Variedad y rapidez. Productos de buena calidad a precios competitivos, porciones medianas. La chica qie atiende super maja pués.

Fui de rebote,estuve 15' de reloj esperando a que me atendieran en el Res.Sevilla después de ir 2 veces a la barra y no hacer caso, me fui al Res. Casino que está al lado, fue sentarme y venir la camarera a preguntarme si quería comer- afirmativo- en 10' tenía 1 plato en la mesa con bebida incluida todo un detalle y profesionalidad con ganas.Si vuelvo otra vez el primer sitio para ir a comer será este,gracias por la atención recibida.

Fui con mi pareja a comer un día de diario en agosto. Reservamos unas horas antes por si acaso e hicimos bien ya que al llegar estaba todo completo.
Tiene una terraza en la plaza bastante grande y un comedor interior también muy amplio.
El menú del día son 14€ y hay variedad de primeros y segundos.
Para el comedor interior había únicamente una camarera atendiendo y el raro entre platos se hacía un poco largo.
La comida correcta, cumple para el precio que es.

Buen sitio para comer en el centro de Villafranca del Bierzo, buena comida y buen precio.
