So beautiful to wander up and down this winding streets lined with a rainbow of houses. In the mornings it was almost deserted and such a peaceful way to start the day.

Very nice city near to Alicante, you can reach IT by the direct tram line that moves along the coast. Villajoyosa is calm and lovely, colour buildings at boulevard are gorgeous! Definitely worth to go there and spend some time there. There are a lot of restaurans and bars along the promenade.
Beach is beautiful but quite narrow in some places, well equipped and additionally changing rooms and toilets are coloured like these all houses - great idea 🤩

We visited a lot of towns in Spain, but this is easily our favourite. Kind people, beautiful atmosphere, and beautiful beaches with very clean water.

A beautiful town on the Costa Blanca, all of the charm non of the hassle of a tourist spot.
I lived here almost 20 years ago, and it has only gotten more wonderful over time. Delightful place to spend a day or a week.

Colorful village close to Alicante. Nice place to walk along the beach with a lot of restaurants/bars along the way. Usually it’s pretty quiet (in summer it probably gets quite busy).

Excellent place, Vilajojosa is full of history, we had the privilege of staying in one of the coloured houses, it was amazing, right on the beach front. Vilajojosa is full of great restaurants and plenty to see and do, it is just a stones throw from Benidorm so if you can't find what you're looking for here you can hop on the tram at very reasonable prices which also goes to Denia. Family friendly, there is something here for everyone.

Pretty houses, white sandy beach. Long promenade to walk along or sit and people watch. Lots of food and drink choices. Cheap underground parking with stairs down off the promenade

Apart from Altea one of my favorite villages of Spain! It's a small quiet village with beautiful colourful Fisher houses. The beach is beautiful, the water clear and there are some nice restaurants too. All in all perfect : )

Colourful and picturesque old town; not too crowded and perfect for a one day visit! We came from Alicante by tram L1 and paid 4,25 for a round trip. You need an hour to get there.

Nice town not far from Alicante with a beach . You can take a swimm or sun and just grab a lunch with no get dresses. Pretty full of color fishman houses.

We've visited Villajoyosa several times and this time took one of our friends with us.

It's a very short tram ride away from the station above the old town of Benidorm. Around 20 to 25 minutes (5 stops).

The bus number 1 took us from the Av del Mediterraneo near the Don Pancho Hotel by a roundabout route took us directly to the station.

We walked it the day before from the Ambassador Playa II Hotel (approx 7k steps). all uphill.

Hopping off the tram at Ceueta we walked down through the town towards the beachfront along a short way to the left in the direction of the marina, before turning back on ourselves and heading back along the front, into the back by the castle and cutting through to the riverbed.

Afterwards, we stopped for a drink on the promenade before making our way back to Benidorm.

A calm, extremely beautiful location. Very well presented, good food.
Some guidance to visitors in cars directing to good parking facilities would help.
