La Huerta de Maria

This is one of the few places you can buy spelt and non wheat bread, although a little pricey. The food is excellent quality and I was told that alot of it is grown naturally on the ladies farm. Highly recommend this gem.

Great shop in the Old Town area of Estepona where they sell local organic fruits and vegetables! Great little place with lots of tasty and healthy food! Very friendly staff!

A surprising shop to find here.

In the narrow streets of the very centre of Estepona, shops are generally tiny. This one takes advantage of the crossroads to gain a sizeable corner plot and give an unusually spacious fruit and vegetable shop.

So that's the first surprising thing about it - its size.

the second surprising thing is the whole set-up, beautifully decorated, designed even, to show off the goods to their best advantage. A gourmet-looking shop in fact!

Maria's Market Garden, or Maria's Orchard is the translation of the name. So that's the third surprise, to have a lovely name too.
