An honest shop with lovely owners who care about more than just money. This was my first stop on a surf roadtrip through Spain & France and the owners treated me like family. As a lonely traveler this feeling is everything. They patiently helped me reason through the costs of renting vs. buying, let me try boards in the water before making any decisions, sold me a brand new board at an extremely reasonable price, and helped me pick some of my next incredible spots. They cared about supporting the circular & local economy, so most of their products are from the region and they have used gear constantly coming in & out, maximizing life span and minimizing waste. Great shop/surfschool! We booked a lesson for 4 beginners and had excellence guidance. The instructor was helpful, explained every ins and outs before we went into the water and gave tips when needed. Definitely worth a visit if you’re nearby and like to surf!

I have visited Bakio and the Shop for several years, and the owner, Julen, has always been nice. Last year, my first lesson there was such fun that there was no doubt that I would return there for more classes this year … and it was amazing with an incredibly professional monitor. Julen and his crew are uncomplicated, friendly, and always available for questions, and help. Absolutely recommendable!

The have surf equipment in a very good condition, the owner is a very nice, english speaking guy who can help you with an advise. Renting and lessons in a reasonable price. It has a very friendly atmosphere

Nice, friendly and helpful teachers for our whole family (kids in all ages: 7, 10, 12 and 14 years, boys and girls). This was the first time for all of us, but we really feel like doing it again some other time!

Nice place with great surfboards to rent! Close to beach and with easy access, totally recommend it if you want to have a quality session 🏄‍♀

Lokal Surf has a friendly, multilingual staff that are very helpful for both classes and retail purchases. The beach is also good for those new to surfing and children.

Personal muy agradable y muy técnico. He probado clases y me encantan no solo las lecciones sino los valores que enseñan en el agua. En cuanto a material, llevo la tercera tabla de aquí y voy a por la cuarta con ellos.

Muy amables y super divertido. Ha sido una experiencia que repetiriamos sin duda con ellos, teníamos un monitor cada uno y ha sido perfecto, muy atentos. Muy buen lugar para hacer surf.

Fuimos una amiga y yo sin tener mucha idea de surf y estuvimos súper contentas. Los grupos de la clase son reducidos, en nuestro caso estuvimos solas porque tuvimos suerte. Aprendimos un montón y Josu (qué era nuestro profe) estuvo muy pendiente de nosotras y nos enseñó un montón.

Volveremos 100% ☺

Hemos ido 2 personas con un monitor, a una clase de hora y media. Ha estado muy bien, lo hemos podido disfrutar bastante a pesar de no tener experiencia. Sin problemas con el material y el monitor muy atento. Lo recomendamos.

Los mejores para un dia de surf!! Gran equipo, siempre con una sonrisa y buen humor. Tienen todo lo que necesitas para el surf des de cursos de iniciación, hasta alquilar y salir a tu rollo. No tardaremos en regresar!

Habia un error en la pagina sobre las medidas de la tabla en la que estaba interesado. Contacte con la tienda por correo electronico y actualizaron los datos el mismo día y terminaron de resolver mis dudas por teléfono. El envio es rapidísimo, ha tardado poco mas de 24h en llegarme la tabla. Aunque el embalaje haya llegado un poco dañado, la tabla viene super protegida en el interior, ademas vienen el detalle de meterte unas pegatinas y algun regalito mas en el paquete.

👌👌 Mi primera experiencia con el surf y ha sido genial!! Además, muy buen material, con el neopreno no notaba ni el agua y eso que estaba a 13°😱 Explicaciones correctas y buena atención de los monitores. Volveremos seguro!

Si quieres hacer Surf por tu cuenta recomiendo este local ya que puedes reservar material sin ningún problema y a muy buen precio, aparte, el personal bastante implicada y agradable.

Buena opción para hacer Padel Surf en Bakio. Pudimos reservar con antelación y Julen siempre estuvo muy atento para darnos todas las indicaciones necesarias.

Escuela de surf muy cerca de la playa de Bakio. Nos organizaron un curso de hora y media para 5 personas con dos monitores super simpáticos y con vocación. El precio muy correcto y el trato muy agradable.
