La Table du Terroir

Excellent food, fresh and plenty. The suggestions were very nice and our dinner was complete with adapted wines. We loved this place and their friendly waiters. You can sit outside on the terrace in the calm side street or inside in the cost restaurant. Absolutely perfect!

Excellent food, great presentation, great service and staff.
We were starving and walking around town with just a few restaurants open. We arrived here by luck and what a pleasant surprise.
My wife fell in love with the sea bass.
The onion soup was fairly good
And the rib eye was delicious.
Also, I got to know my favourite desert from now on; the Normandy Crepe.

We are from America and don’t speak French. Staff did communicate with us well. We ate the Filet di Poulet (chicken dish) and it was great. Would eat here again. The street vibe is awesome. Cute shops, plenty of people out, seemed safe

Wonderful and efficient eatery in the middle of the Bayeux area. Everyone was patient and all the dishes were cooked perfectly. My pork chop with Calvados was tender and enjoyed by all my children.
The ice cream and dessert selection were excellent. This restaurant is a perfect stop for lunch.

Very nice experience. The kind staff made space for a group of 9 including 5 kids + a dog, at the last minute for an early service. It was busy bit the service was very nice, staff very kind and the food excellent. We warmly recommend.

We stumbled upon this place looking for dinner one evening and are glad that we did. Service was a little slow but the food was great and the server was knowledgeable about gluten-free dishes.

Excellent food, the waiting staff mostly speak English and the menus also have English translations. I would definitely recommend the Duck in Cider sauce for the main course. They open on Sunday night but not too late, which is unusual in France. Excuse the shot composition of the Duck below, I'd had a few beers by then!

We went here despite a couple of dodgy reviews. Either things have really changed or the reviews aren't in any way warranted. We ate here three times during our trip to Bayeux and every time we had a great time.
We had the fixed price menus which are excellent value and everything was delicious. The kids menu is also really great. The service was also good - a little slow on the final visit but it was a Saturday night and completely full, so I think they could have done with more staff.

We found it hard to get French classics elsewhere in Bayeux, and so this was a welcome addition to our trip.

My family enjoyed dinner here last Friday evening. We ordered the veal chop, the chicken and the steak. Each had a different sauce and all were delicious! The service was excellent and the place is modern but cozy. Two of us ordered the prix fix menu and found it to be good value. It was a great experience and we definitely recommend it if you are looking for typical Normandy cuisine.
