L'Angle Saint Laurent

This restaurant is stunning. The food was incredible, the wine list is lovely. We came here for my birthday dinner and it was the highlight of our three weeks in France. Thank you for a wonderful dinner!

My husband and I dined here during our recent trip to Bayeux and it did not disappoint. The service was prompt and friendly (the entire staff spoke English) and the food was both beautiful and delicious. The courses are well-paced for a leisurely meal, though some may find it slow if you’re used to American service. Not a bad thing, just something to note for American tourists!

Of a number of days in Normandy, eating dinner in Bayeux, this was our favourite. It was delicious and great service. Lots of free parking around after 7. Also great pricing.

Absolutely excellent lunch for 6 people here on a Thursday, I booked in advance via email. Food amazing, lovely ambience, excellent service, prices extremely reasonable. The polenta was probably the best I've ever eaten. Highly recommend you make a reservation as something to look forward to.

Excellent meal, beautiful food, relaxed and cozy atmosphere. If we lived in Bayeux we’d be here all the time! The value in the set menus is amazing. Highly recommend and book out as we watched many people come in and get turned away as they only do one seating per night.

We ate here on the last day of our trip to round off my 40th birthday and we couldn't have found a more welcoming, warm and delicious restaurant! The scallops were fantastic. The staff were genuine and kind and it absolutely made my entire holiday having a candle on a surprise dessert at the end. A very special place.

Excellent restaurant. Great service. My wife loved the fish of the day and her salad. I found the pollack to be on the bland side and was disappointed with the escargot. The leeks were delicious however the portion of escargot was tiny. Perhaps it should be called a leeks dish with a hint of escargot. Service was fantastic and we loved the atmosphere.

What a wonderful restaurant this is! The food and service is excellent. You can absolutely tell that the food is made by a true dedicated chef. Delicate and full of flavor. The service the same, subtle but nevertheless exceptionally. Hope we can revisit again. We will talk about the local produced pork with pistachios for a long time:)

Found restaurant from Rick Steve's guide book for one of our last France/Normandy dinners. Overall excellent experience. Food is prepared at a Michelin level restaurant quality, but prices while not low were very fair for what was provided. Service was also excellent. Just two women, owner and second waitress, serviced entire restaurant. Not fast, but its French so expect to spend close to 2 hours for a quality three course meal. Was concerned about being too touristy given listing in a popular guide book, which it was not. Will need a reservation (as we did) as several people came to the door during our visit and could not get a table. Overall, could not recommend this place more highly.

Tasty, innovative food in a well thought-out setting - however, no accompaniment offered with frites. Service could have been a little faster for a relatively quiet lunchtime, but that's a minor comment. Would visit again.

This was the best meal that we had in France. Every person in our group got something different, and every one of us declared the meal to be amazing. The staff was awesome. My life's goal is now to recreate the pistachio crusted pork tenderloin.

Reportedly one of the best restaurants in Bayou France. Totally exceeded our expectations. Amazing service and phenomenal food. Great wine. You better make a reservation they were turning people away on a Saturday evening who did not have reservations. Bon appétit!

Everything was simply fantastic! All of our experiences with restaurants in Bayeaux were terrific, but L'Angle Saint Laurent was our favorite. We will definitely come again and recommend it to everyone.

Incredible restaurant! “Superb” as we would say! The mushroom soup was absolutely delicious. The staff was so kind and wonderful. Great wine and entrees. You must try this restaurant if you come to Bayeux!!!

While most folks come to Bayeux to view the incomparable tapestry, Bayeux also has many fine restaurants. L'Angle Saint Laurent is one of them.
The well thought-out daily lunch menu is a steal (€26 for three courses), but there are also other menus to try, like the terroir menu (€39) or more expansive menus.
The food is well prepared and delicious (accompaniments, like the super-rich polenta make for compulsive eating). The tables are well-spaced and the service is friendly and efficient.
