Pavillon Gourmand

The four course + 4 wines tasting menu is a delight. Perfect wine pairing. Exquisite cuisine. Pure pleasure in each perfect bite. The menu starts with a fois gras paired with Pinot gris, served with perfectly toasted bread and a home made chutney. It continues perfectly with risotto with scallops paired with Riesling. The scallops bring the Riesling to a completely different level. Devine pairing. Then to clean the palate you are having a great ginger sorbet. The main course is steak with creamy mashed potatos and baby veggies, all super fresh, seemed home made freshly taken from the garden. This was paired with Pinot noir. Last but not least, the menu ends with epically with a chocolate mouse , ice cream paired with gewuertztraminer. This was a story to live again not a meal.

Great hosts, super polite and nice. Great atmosphere as well.

Delicious food, staff can be more sympatic

This is a review for the "Traiteur" - the Boutique of the restaurant, where you can buy their wonderful local products.

Came here for just a snack during lunchtime and ended up with a bag full of goodies.
Had a sandwich first, you can choose what kinds of meat, cheese and other stuffing you'd like. All combined with good bread. Nice and fresh, great prices.

Then we bought some of their wonderful products: Munster Cheese, Foie Gras and Eisbein/Jambonneau. Great quality, fantastic. Very tasty.

I bet the restaurant is a winner as well (judged by the reviews it is), but if you are close to home or on the way home, then make sure to buy some of their products here.

Excellent restaurant, greatly executed dishes and the staff was efficient and professional.
Tried a beer called the birabel, which was delicious.
Price vise on the higher end but affordable.

Très bon restaurant dans le haut de Eguisheim. Belle salle à la décoration moderne. Excellente cuisine, plusieurs menus à différents prix, le foie gras était très bon et la cuisson de la cannette était parfaite rosée. Service efficace et sympathique.

Très contente d’être retournée dans ce restaurant dans le village de mes parents. C’est généreux, raffiné et très très bon. Les spaetzele pour accompagner le plat étaient excellentes. Je recommande vivement une vraie bonne adresse où le fait maison allie l’originalité et la tradition.

Cuisine excellente, plats raffinée, personnel agréable, salle intérieure superbe et terrasse extérieure sympa. Je recommande vivement cette adresse.

Le 4 étoiles pour le service est justifié par un manque d'explication sur les plats.

Iets verfijndere Elzasser keuken. Zeer goed geprijsde menu’s. De bediening is zeer attent en vriendelijk. Keuken is voor onze smaak iets te vlot dus gevraagd wat rustiger uit te serveren en dat was geen probleem. Voornamelijk wijn uit de regio op de kaart maar een paar uit de rest van Frankrijk. Kan het van harte aanbevelen.

Zo goed! Echt een aanrader. Wat heb ik heerlijk gegeten. Zeer mooi restaurant en hele fijne bediening. Meer dan top!

Bien sûr, je ne suis pas féroce et je trouve qu'il est nécessaire de prendre en compte tous les efforts des hôtes avant de sanctionner durement quelque chose qui n'aurait pas eu l'heurt de nous plaire.

Mais, quel plaisir que d'avoir été reçu ici. L'ambiance est feutrée, les mets sont délicats (le risotto est une tuerie), le service est aimable et en accord avec les prestations gastronomiques. Gault Millau ne s'y est pas trompé, ni le guide du routard. Loin de l'affolement autour des tartes flambées, quel beau refuge que celui-ci. Merci

Gehobenes Restaurant mit hohen Ansprüchen an sich selbst, die der Service nicht durchgängig gewährleistet (Teller werden über längere Zeit nicht abgeräumt). Im Großen und Ganzen aber sehr freundlicher Service. Die Qualität der Gerichte ist sehr gut. Das Degustationsmenü für 50 Euro (plus 24 Euro für die Weinbegleitung) ist innovativ und geschmacklich wie optisch hochklassig. Highlights waren das Sorbet als Zwischengang und das Entrecote. Preislich sehr in Ordnung. Insgesamt ein sehr empfehlenswertes Restaurant!

Geschmacklich fantastisch, sehr guter Service, das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist hervorragend. Dort zu reservieren ist der erste Schritt zu einem gelungenen Abend.
