A gem in Eguisheim, lovely atmosphere, enchanting wine and a jolly good time. Feels like the time stops here and will pass slower a bit afterwards. Have you been to a place where time slows and falls into your glass packed in the form of sunshine?

This was our first stop for wine in Eguisheim and we came back for a second visit a few hours later because it was our favorite stop! There is ample seating out in their courtyard which is very peaceful. We all ordered one glass to enjoy and ended up taking four bottles home. We felt the most welcome at this stop and would highly recommend! There is even a bakery across the street for treats as you enjoy your wine! Definitely get the Riesling or Gewürztraminer.

Eguisheim is one of my favorite white places for Elzas pinot gris. My uncle gave me this adress he was working in the region for harvesting their pinot gris and blanc are excellent and very affordable. Joseph Freudenreich and family

2-3 times a year I travel a few hundred km just to come to Freudenreich and buy their wine. After the years, even my friends ask me to bring them boxes of Freudenreich wines.

Best wines and service at one of best alsace village - Eguisheim. Should be seen if in area.

In Eguisheim zu verweilen ist schon einmalig noch dazu guten Wein zu genießen ist unbezahlbar. In guter Atmosphäre, bei schönem Wetter, netten Personal und einem freundlichen und witzigen Chef schmecken die Elsässer Weine sehr gut! Danke für eure Gastfreundschaft! Den Elsass, Eguisheim und das Weingut "Joseph Freudenreich" können wir nur empfehlen!

IT: Proprietario gentilissimo e cordiale - ha seguito la degustazione di noi e altre sue coppie in contemporanea, parlando con noi inglese, con una francese e con un’altra tedesco - degustazione interessante sia di gusto che di curiosità da lui spiegate. Abbiamo acquistato ottimi vini a prezzi più che ragionevoli. La degustazione costa 5€ ma se finisce in acquisto di bottiglie di vino è gratuita. Prezzi buoni, ottimo vino. Un’esperienza da fare!

FR: Propriétaire très gentil et sympathique - il a suivi la dégustation de nous et de deux autres couples en même temps, parlant anglais avec nous, avec un français et avec un autre allemand - dégustation intéressante tant en termes de goût que de curiosités expliquées par lui. Nous avons acheté d'excellents vins à des prix plus que raisonnables. La dégustation coûte 5 € mais si elle se termine par l'achat de bouteilles de vin elle est gratuite. Bons prix, excellent vin. Une expérience à vivre !

Es war ein großartiger Nachmittag in diesem Kleinod. Mehr oder weniger durch Zufall wegen einsetzendem Regen sind wir auf das malerische Weingut aufmerksam geworden. Hervorragende Weine mit einer sehr kompetenten und äußerst freundlichen Bedienung. Wir empfehlen das Haus Freudenreich sehr gerne und mit Überzeugung weiter. Alle verkosteten Weine waren von hervorragender Qualität und sind bestens beschrieben und erklärt worden. Aus unserer Sicht überhaupt kein Problem für Laien die sich nicht mit Wein auskennen. Wir waren bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal dort!!👍👍

Bodega maravillosa, el edificio es precioso y puedes hacer cata y compra de una gran variedad de Vinos de Alsacia.

El personal es muy atento y te aconsejan muy bien. Tienen gran variedad de vinos de la región y a precios muy moderados. Tienen listados con todas las variedades y precios.

Nosotros probamos varios y al final nos decidimos por un Pinot noir y un Riesling, que es el más mítico de la región, los dos muy muy buenos. 100% recomendable.

Schön gelegener Gästebereich im Innenhof mit gut gelaunten Bedienungen. Der Wein war sehr lecker, insbesondere die 3er Degustationsset sind sehr zu empfehlen. Unser Favorit war der Grand Cru Gewürztraminer!
