Camping RCN le Moulin de la Pique

Great campsite with quality facilitates. The pitches are well shaded with a great central area for play ball games. The staff are all very helpful and speak a selection of languages.
We stayed in a cabin on pitch 220, if you like a shady spot this is a great one. Right by the tennis court and a very short walk to the pool. The cabin was of a very high standard, we loved having an ensuite and plenty of room in the living area.

Like other RCN campsites this is an impeccable place to stay and I always leave RCN sites feeling that I am better for the experience. It is beautifully laid out in an old setting and has all you could want from a good site. Plenty of toilets, showers etc, good bar and restaurant and on-site shop. The area around it is a natural paradise with so many fine examples of the best of this special region. Young Dutch staff with impeccable English deserve a "chapeau" of their own. Aye. Fraser.

We meant to stay for 1 night...Extended to 3 and changed our EU trip route, just because it's one of the best campsites and there are loads to see around. Facilities cleand regularly, and it's spotless! Friendly and helpful staff! Highly recommended 👌

Great site. We stopped in large house on site. Excellent value. Great variety of pools for all. Small shop. Helpful staff. Mature trees and greenery throughout. Restaurant and bar on site but we didn't use.

This must be a paradise for families but in the quieter month of October I’d recommend it as a break from touring .

This is an incredible campsite. When you arrive, you think that you've arrived at a stately home because there are two beautiful old buildings , one of which was the original Mill and now holds the reception ,shop and restaurant.

The welcome was warm and friendly and we were allowed to choose any pitch we liked.

The site is much larger than you first think because many of the pitches and mobile homes are hidden in the trees and behind mature hedges.

In the centre of the site there is a large fishing lake and a huge field with goalposts, basketball hoops and a fitness area next to the pool.

There are several pools. One is small and like a jacuzzi, another is a large outdoor pool with slides and the third is a covered indoor pool.

We were there out of season but I can imagine in summer, that the place is alive with famillies and children because its an amazing place with plenty of space for children to play and cycle around.

The sanitary blocks were modern and very clean with plenty of soap and toilet paper and there were plenty of sinks for dishwashing. There is also a launderette on site.

The restaurant was inside one of the beautiful old buildings and served pizzas,burgers etc and thee is a small shop where you can prder bread for collection the following morning.

The site is situated a fair distance from the river and Sarlat but they were easy to get to with little traffic on the roads. The immediate area around the site was quiet and very picturesque. It was a pleasure in itself just to walk around the site in the evenings.

Overall, we were very impressed with the site. Especially as they accept the acsi card outside of the main summer season so you get to stay on a five star site for half the normal price.

Great camping site with large places, good facilities for the guests. Large swimming pools with glidings. Dordogne is a great and varying area where a guest doesn't ever have a dull moment.

The campsite is really beautiful, a nice pool and a good vibe.

Very good camping. Many facilities and lovely owners. Everything nice and clean. Only the internet was poor. But we had a rather good experience.

Great camping, friendly staff and the food is also really good! Plus the dordogne is just perfect!

Een heerlijke vakantie gehad, ondanks het slechte en koude weer.
Kinderen hebben volop gebruik gemaakt van het zwembad met bijbehorende glijbanen.
In het winkeltje kun je ‘s ochtends het bestelde brood ophalen en je kunt er terecht voor de vergeten boodschapjes. Er is een klein assortiment.
Het animatie was zelfs al aanwezig en onze jongste dochter vond het knutselen en de disco erg gezellig.
We hebben niet gegeten in het restaurant maar wel een keer pizza’s afgehaald en deze waren erg lekker.
We hadden een chalet type Audrix gehuurd en deze was voor ons gezin van vijf echt top. Een schoon en mooi chalet, met 3 slaapkamers, 2 badkamers en 2 toiletten (waarvan 1 apart). We zouden dit type zo weer huren. Ook heerlijk is het grote terras met grote tuintafel en twee ligbedden.
Wij kunnen een verblijf in de meivakantie zeker aanbevelen.
Wat wellicht voor de tent/caravan/vouwwagen en camper etc kampeerders fijn is om te weten: het Sanitair gebouw bij de Safari tenten zag er netjes uit. Het sanitair gebouw bij het speelveld waren ze tijdens ons verblijf volledig aan het opknappen/ vernieuwen.

Voilà plusieurs années que nous fréquentons le camping. Les mobiles homes sont spacieux. Beaucoup d'espace, la piscine, le tennis, l'étang...de quoi passer de bons moments. Également, des visites et activités à faire à l'extérieur. Belle région !

Camping au top!
Ça fait déjà plusieurs années que l'on y passe notre weekend de l'ascension c'est toujours des moments superbes! Le camping est toujours aussi accueillant et gentil. Les piscines et les toboggans sont trop bien et la petite rivière aussi de quoi satisfaire les envies de tous! 🙃

Nous avons habité une grande tente (49m²) pendant 3 jours en mai 2024. Le camping est vraiment sympa, très calme, la tente est super et très qualitative, le personnel est adorable ! Le terrain était un peu inondé près de la tente, dommage (mais ils n'y peuvent pas grand chose).

Camping très sympa mobil home spacieux bien adapté pour les familles, au calme dans une très belle région. Je recommande vivement ! Seul bémol malgré la gentillesse des serveuses la très longue attente pour être servi au restaurant. Mais je recommande quand même !
