Camping Marvilla Parks - Domaine de Soleil Plage

Probably one of the best holidays we had so far. Tucked away from all busy areas right on the bank of Dordogne river. We stayed for 5 nights with our 3 kids who are 12, 8 and 5 yo.
So much to do on site: pool complex, sports area (all equipment is free to borrow from the reception), playground. Outside: you can hire a kayak, go hiking or drive around and explore little towns (all within easy access). Car is a must.
Service is fantastic. Very smooth check in and check out. Little grocery shop on site plus a bar & a restaurant (where we had dinner on 1st night).

Great Holiday at Domaine du Soleil Plage!
We just returned from the most incredible camping trip at Domaine du Soleil Plage in the Dordogne! This 5-star campsite truly deserves its rating. Location, Location, Location!
Nestled right on the banks of the Dordogne River, the setting was pure magic. We loved waking up to the sound of the water and cooling off with a swim after a day of exploring. The surrounding area, Black Périgord, is a treasure trove of charming towns, historical sites, and stunning natural beauty. Even when it rains is good...

Absolutely first class campsite in a stunning location. Staff were friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. Mobile home was modern and spacious with excellent air con and in a very private setting. Pool facilities are excellent and well staffed. Shop on site is surprisingly reasonable as is the food at the snack bar where the staff again are fantastic. Best campsite I've stayed in by far. Canoeing down the river is a must do experience.

The chalet, although very disappointed at first as it’s not nearly as nice inside as the marketing photography shows (sort that out pls!) was lovely. Good ac, good kitchen (although two lights blew during our stay and a cupboard was broken on arrival), clean bathroom and lovely big terrace. We didn’t love the flimsy plastic garden furniture, with three children the table was moving around a lot!
The pool is very secure with a lovely big safety gate (for the little ones) and the slides were a huge hit.
The entertainment is brilliant and our children loved the kids clubs on offer twice daily (apart from Sunday).
Loved popping to the on-site shop to collect our daily baguettes and pastries for the day. Pizzas made on site (evening only) are delicious too and we took advantage of that a couple times during our stay.
Overall it feels and is so safe. We were comfortable leaving our children playing in the playground or softplay whilst we grabbed a drink, relaxed and sat at their terrace.
It’s quite expensive (we paid about £300 per night) for a two week holiday but I’d highly recommend it.

Awesome campsite!!! Very well located in a privileged area and with very good facilities.

Many activities for both children and adults, ideal for families who want to spend a relaxing vacation combined with entertainment (concerts and other shows) and some sports (tennis, kayaking...).

It has a great offer of entertainment for children. My 8 year old daughter had a lot of fun, met and played with other children of many nationalities. A very committed animation team. Thanks guys!!!

The food in the restaurant is very good, as well as the snack bar offer (great pizzas!) The staff is sometimes overwhelmed but always attentive and friendly.

Totally recommended and we will definitely come back!

We have been coming to this campsite on and off for a number of years and it still wows us with its spectacular views of the river. Some pitches are overlooking the wonderful Dordogne gorge and we are lucky enough to have one this year.
The pitches are large and well maintained, though this year, given the extremes of weather France (and most of Europe) has had, the pitches are lacking grass but understandably.
The site has beautiful pool facilities both heated and not and well appointed sanitary facilities. It also has good facilities for kids and games.
We love it!

Amazing campsite with lodges available as well. Only gave 2 stars for rooms as I didn't enter any but understand they are fairly basic prefab. Lovely staff, beautiful area. Have holidayed here several years in a row

Great campsite, lovely pool complex with view and close to river for canoeing/kayaking. Not much entertainment but that was probably time of year. Kids loved it.

Adore it. Take it from someone who's been here 6 six times, this is my favourite place in the world. It's no exaggeration. I can't imagine anywhere I would have liked to spend my childhood. It's got breath taking views, a boatload of activities, amusing entertainment and hardworking, and generous staff. I love it with all my heart and will never forget the friends my family and I have made coming here. The river offers so much and it's perfect for families of any age range. Sad to leave every year but know it will get better each time. Thank you for making my summer holidays.

We are here with our caravan. Excellent campsite with wonderful facilities and very helpful staff. Everything is extremely clean and the showers etc are plentiful with loads of hot water. One of the two outdoor pools is heated and there are plenty of loungers available. We had originally planned to stay 3 nights but we have now booked to stay another three and may extend that as there is plenty to see in the area. Lots of on-site facilities for all the family including a shop and restaurant. Pitches are good sized and power & water readily available. The site accepts Camping Cheques at certain times so it's great value for money.

We are staying in safari tents and it's proving to be an awesome holiday. The tents are furnished, you only really need to bring linen and consumables. Toilets and showers are clean. The Dordogne river is seconds away. The pool looks as good in person as it does on the website. I am really enjoying this holiday. The canoeing that leaves from the site is pretty straightforward and goes past spectacular cliffs. If you are driving- the roads are smooth and quiet and the speed limits are low so it's very pleasant.

We booked 1 night and stayed on a main site pitch which was okay but a bit tired from a full season and wet weather. (Massive Pitch)

We decided to book another 2 nights but move to the camping car specific pitches which were in excellent condition (Not tents, groundsheets etc)

Then we booked two more nights :) finishing off with an amazing rock / cover band on the last night.

Cycling is challenging but rewarding roads are busy from mid morning.
Scenery nearby is stunning
You must get out for a day with the local canoe hire

What a great site, very large pitches, some right on the river. The swimming pool complex is fabulous with an indoor pool and outdoor pools heated and non heated. The wash blocks are 5*. Will definitely stay again when in this area.

Second time here, we had an amazing family holiday !! Our children cried leaving here after 2 weeks of fun, highly recommend this place ❤🙌

A beautiful campground beside the Dore river. Excellent facilities and helpful staff.
Only hassle was that there is no direct connection to the dedicated cycling paths elsewhere in the region. Thoroughly recommended otherwise.

Soleil plage is a lovely campsite, that has a wonderful river you can drift down. And when you get bord there is a range of activities you can do. The one i do daily, if the water polo. The staff helps as much as they possibly can (to help the BRITISH!) It is quite expensive though but it is worth it.

Great campsite with excellent amenities, friendly staff, stunning location. Even in peek season there is a sense of space, even at the poolside. Great springboard for excursions along the Dordogne.

Well kept clean campground. Good facilities. Fresh bread & croissants were a little overdone for my palate but the restaurant had very good food. Lots of biking and walking trails

Good accommodation, nice and quiet with friendly service. On site store is a bit lacking.
