Château de Bridoire

A great castle to visit with kids. The whole front lawn is covered in old school games. There are chickens and geese. You could easily spend hours here. So fun!

Great castle with old fashioned games in the gardens. The perfect way to spend an afternoon with the kids.

The best place to take the kids! We go at least twice a year (Halloween & Easter)
Each year the decoration and events get better and better! It’s really well looked after, the staff are amazing! The picnic area is great, the games are awesome! Thank you

Had a lovely day with our 7 and 4 year old. Games are super simple but fun. Very interesting seeing inside the castle, each room had games to play so the kids really enjoyed themselves.

A wonderful Château thats been well maintained. Surprisingly quick to walk about. I think we explored the whole Château in about an hour and that was at a slow pace. The animals on site was a nice touch along with the children's games. I must say I surprised myself with how much I enjoyed the games! A great day out here

We were blown away by this place , a real treasure. The chapel was incredible

It was a special evening! We started at around 7:30 pm, we played at the nice wooden games outside and by 8 pm we took some apéro, cold cuts and cheese which the baked Camembert was super good by the way. We were entertained by the local dance and music, very original! Then at around 9 pm we visited the castle in candlelight which was a very unique experience for us! It gives a different angle from the usual castle visits which is ordinary. We love the effort and passion they put in this place, you can feel it from the wooden toys and the decorations around. There was a horse show as well, the horses were beautiful and made us appreciate how wonderful these creatures are! We highly recommend this visit!!

The castle is an interesting piece of history, the Giant rabbit in the grounds is cute, the lawn games entertain kids (and adults too 😁)

Chateaux in restoration. Medieval, music, games, beautiful trees & grounds, horses, cafe, peaceful place to be.

Great place to spend a good few hours if not more when including the maze. Olde games to play in the grounds, plenty to keep you and yours busy. Nice to see a chateau partially restored and decorated to tradition. Well worth the visit

The children loved it here, lots of games to play inside and out, very interesting history and lots of thought has gone into restoring but also making this an engaging place for all.

After we did the escape game in the Château de Marsac we decided to visit Bridoire although it was a bit further away for us, but we were not disappointed! Great way to visit a castle, loved the huge amount of olden time games especially with our 2 kids (both 6). You can easily spend a whole afternoon here or even a whole day. As most of the games are outside and only a small part of the visit is inside the castle it's covid-19 proof. Possibility to picknick inside the grounds of the castle or buy sandwiches/salads etc on site. All in all a great day and definitely worth the trip. Just try not to go there when it's to hot as a big part of the games are not shaded by trees.

Fantastic family day out - although we went in the busy summer holidays and the car park was full the place never felt too busy. They have a wonderful array of traditional games, both in the gardens and in the house and there were always options available meaning that you didn't have to queue. There are a couple of challenging trails through the woods (in English and French) and the on site restaurant and snack bar serve good food at reasonable prices. Would thoroughly recommend - we didn't even get to see everything as there is so much on offer.

Chateau absolutely wonderful, could spend a whole day there, excellent for children, but need to take a picnic as the shop not very friendly, would not serve a glass of Rose as there was red and white open, and the girls refused to open a new bottle till the red and white was drunk!!😜

An absolutely stunning opportunity to see a château that despite being left to neglect until quite recently, has been renovated to the highest standard and has brilliant staff, all proud to help you understand a little bit of local history.
Good for kids, with superb classic games and a treasure hunt and extremely educational for all!

This is a great place to go with children from 3 years and up. There are lots of old fashioned games around the Château and grounds which always keep us amused for hours. The shop handily sells ice creams, drinks and snacks if you need a little refreshment.

Lots of outside games, archery, medieval games, castle visit. Have to plan to spend at least 2h to get a good feel of this great place.

A château worth visiting.It has a pretty nice story of how it was neglected and vandalized and eventually rising back to its magnificence.they created différent games outside the château where visitons can relax or amuse themselves. Good for familiies with Kids.
