Great restaurant with tapas options. The Tuna main on a sesame noodle slaw was exceptional as was the tapas of a charcuterie platter accompanied with potatas bravas. We had a most memorable evening in their outdoor space under a large tree with all around us was the ambiance of a busy bistro. This place is an absolute must visit.

Stunning setting under a huge shady tree in the summer sunshine. Food fantastic and the service excellent, made to feel very welcome. Stayed long after lunch to enjoy the place and the people.

This place was so unexpected but absolutely outstanding. We nipped in for dinner expecting a burger and chips and were blown away by the quality. The owner and staff are delightful, absolutely lovely. The food came super quick, it was such good value and it was impeccable. Totally delicious and presented beautifully, great value for money. Will absolutely be back on our next visit to the area!

I just visited here for second time with my friend. It is a lovely little hidden gem I didn't know about for a long time and very close to where I live.
Great food. Very friendly staff and good service. The restaurant itself is located in such a pretty little spot in Pomport. The outdoor dining when the sun is shining is gorgeous. Great and very inviting for everyone to enjoy whether you are a small group, or a couple, or a large group, if you have dogs or children.
The rugby was on inside the bar when we were there so another bonus to this place if you want somewhere local to go and watch sport with a drink and some nice food. You can even just have some tapas to share with your friends . Highly recommend this place. It ticks every box.

My husband and I had a really good lunch here on Friday. It was our first visit and definitely won't be the last. There was a lunch menu de jour at 22 euros for 3 courses. Each course had 2 choices - one Meat, one vegetarian for the starter and one fish for the main. The quality of the food and cooking was outstanding. Between us we had the whole menu and it was all great. It's not the traditional workers' lunch offered in lots of local restaurants and is a bit more expensive - but it is worth it. Wine is extra - we paid 4 euros a glass for good quality, relatively local, wine. The decor is simple but stylish and the service was really friendly. I think in the evening it may just be Tapas so worth checking - Tapas is also available for lunch. Thank you, a great new local find for us.

efficient, we were served tapas style as the food was ready.
I forgot my hat and returned the next day, the owners were so helpful ensuring it was returned to me.

This place is amazing. Our friends took us there yesterday. Every entrée, plat & dessert was exceptional. Fred is so attentive too. As a vegetarian, it's still a little difficult to find good food, but not here. The vegetarian options were amazing.

It was so good to visit this beautiful restaurant at lunchtime today and to meet up with our old friend, Frederik. We had a lovely tapas snack and enjoyed some delicious wine. This restaurant is a 'must visit' place for anyone on holiday in the region - you won't meet a more amiable host anywhere. Good luck to Fredrik and staff for the future. Recently opened, stopped by for a drink. Menu looks interesting and different to your usual restaurant. Can't wait to get back and try it. Nice setting with magnificent scenery.

What a fantastic team Fred has assembled at this idyllic location . Relaxing outside under the trees in the most tranquil and charming of villages , we found ourselves served the most wonderful of lunches .steak tartare , tomato mozerrella salad ,beautiful pollock and cuisses de poults with roast vegetables were all delicious. Lola was delightful as server. We are so excited to have found this gem and I feel it will be our new go to

Lovely bistrot and a great setting. Outdoors under the trees or inside with it’s fine decor. You always get a friendly welcome and I would recommend the tapas menu which is very good.

Our first visit to Le Bistrot du Clocher was an absolute delight. Sitting in the garden under the trees, music playing made the perfect setting for delicious food, amazing local wine and excellent service. Well done to everyone and see you again soon.

Best place to eat and drink in the area, great setting under the trees to dine alfresco with subtle lighting. fantastic attentive staff who speak great English as well. Fred also mixes a fantastic Aperol Spritz!
