Lovely restaurant! Feels very traditional. Very friendly and attentive staff . Service was very quick. Food was very tasty and satisfying in unimaginable ways. Love love will come back again and again. The ambience is very old world charm cosy chic. Love the attention to details in every part of the restaurant.

The restaurant is impeccable with its freshly made bread. The prices are high but they are worth it. If you want, the 18€ lunch menu is excellent for its price with an entry and meal.

100% one of the best meals I've had in my life. Lovely service and atmosphere, food was incredible and very well priced! Got the €30 menu actualite, three courses of bliss.

I chose this restaurant to celebrate my husband's birthday and it was a complete match and a pleasant discovery. We enjoyed the food, the table service and the environment equally. Everything was as expected, and of course we will return.

This is an amazing place! The restaurant is huge and has a spacious sitting area. We were trying to find a place to have dinner on Saturday night, and all restaurants around were booked. L’Epicurien welcomed us, even though we didn’t reserve any table. There are two floors, so don’t be discouraged to enter if you are looking for a table. The food was delicious! We got entrée, plat, dessert for 30€. High quality and very interesting mix of flavors. We speak French but there were some Italian and English people, and the staff spoke Italian and English with them. There are also English menus. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. The decor is fantastic, even the bathroom looks so luxurious. We spent an awesome time!

Nice evening with 12 colleagues. Good food with a gambette d’agneau with delicious vegetables, good wine, good service, good atmosphere with a private room upstairs

The food is great. Maybe it is not cheap but it is worthy for sure! I will go again next time.

An excellent restaurant in the historic center of Grenoble. I've been there two times when I wanted something fancier than a simple eatery and I haven't been dissapointed. I ordered a lamb shank for a main and an egg entrée. Both were very well cooked. What I liked was that the entrée was close to haute cuisine with interesting combinations of texture and flavors. Similarly the shank was cooked to perfect tenderness. The waiter was extremely polite and helpful and the atmosphere was elegant. I highly recommend this place !

Delicious food. Octopus was great, almost like in Spain. Steak was fenomenal - pretty much as in Argentina. Souses - unique, makes food even better. Recommend this place.

A serendipitous find since the restaurant we had selected was closed for two weeks holiday. The EUR 30 menu was superb value for money, and the quality of the food was high, really high for a set menu Lovely outside location in the Place Aux Herbes, providing a constant backdrop and soundtrack of evening life in the city.

Yes I gave this restaurant 5 stars for everything. This is a real "restaurant" that offers a daily set price menu or your choice from the à la carte menu. The atmosphere here is more refined than the average Cafe, bar or brasserie. The food, sauces and garniture are also more refined. The set price menu is excellent value for money. Wine is by glass, jug or bottle. Staff are very professional and efficient. I recommend booking, but you may be lucky and get a table without a booking like we were. This is a restaurant that I could return to time after time.
