Auberge Le Meisenberg

I stopped here on a last minute reservation while doing a cycling tour of Alsace. The hotel was right in the middle of a beautiful small village, and the rooms were very clean and comfortable, and check in was easy. They also had a bicycle garage inside the gated courtyard, so very secure and perfect for my trip.

We tried only the restaurant and it was great. Food is delicious, and the service is so friendly and attentive. We couldn't ask for better. The outside is unpretentious, but there is also a little secret garden which looks super nice.

We’ve stayed in Chatenois for one night while exploring the Alsace wine road. The Auberge Le Meisenberg is a tastefully restored and renewed Fachwerk house, room for 3 was comfortable and spacious, breakfast very good, and also the dinner that we had in the restaurant in their lovely inner yard was delicious.

We had dinner here in the restaurant. Fantastic food. Very welcoming and friendly service. Highly recommended.

Lovely restaurant with excellent and attentive service. We had the beef carpaccio and their duck liver and smoked duck salad. Amazing!

Nous sommes arrivés dans ce restaurant totalement par hasard après une belle randonnée dans les environs.
Quel bel accueil ! Quelle gentillesse ! Le service est parfait. Et que dire des escargots et de la souris d'agneau ! Un régal. La carte des vins est aussi bien choisie et bien travaillée.
Voilà un restaurant comme on avait presque oublié qu'ils existent encore. Nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir et plus par hasard !

Jolie auberge, la salle est calme l'ambiance est douce. Le personnel est très cordial et de très bons conseils sur les vins. La cuisine est d'une qualité sans pareille, la présentation des assiettes est très sympathique. Et pour finir, les sanitaires sont remarquablement propres.

2eme fois que nous venons dans ce restaurant.

J'adore le kouglof glacé, et le foie gras. Que j'ai repris. C'est agréable de retrouver les mêmes choses 1 an après :)

Il faudrait faire 2 pages Google distinctes : une pour l'auberge et une pour le restaurant !

Très chouette restaurant, belle carte, belle terrasse avec glycine, personnel très sympathique et carte des vins extra.

Nous avons fait une pause après une visite dans le coin, appelant pour une réservation à 13h un dimanche... Nous nous y sommes pris tard, le restaurant était complet. Cependant, ils ont tout mis en œuvre pour nous trouver une place, de manière extrêmement agréable.

Quant au repas, un seul mot me vient à l'esprit : "PARFAIT".

Le service était également impeccable, avec une dame pleine d'humour et de répartie. Un moment vraiment plaisant.

Superbe resto, nous sommes arrivés à
7 et sur le tard, en plein marché de Noël (un dimanche)
La patronne nous a dégoté une superbe table en toute intimité, malgré tout.
S'en est suivi le repas, d'une tendresse inouïe.
Accompagné d'un superbe Riesling.

Superbe auberge c est la deuxième année que nous venons pour les marchés de Noël. Chambre nickel literie au top mon mari veut enmener les couettes tellement il dort bien .restauration du gastronomique aussi beau que bon, que du local et pour terminer patronne et personnel au top merci pour se séjour je recommande plus plus plus

Ein Träumchen, wer die Anonymität eines 500 Betten Hotels sucht, ist hier falsch.

Ich hatte das Vergnügen, (leider nur) eine Nacht im "Le Meisenberg" zu nächtigen.

Was soll ich sagen?:
Von dem romantisch elsässischen Fachwerkhaus, bis hin zum Frühstück ein Fest. Es hat zwar die zu erwartenden kleinen Nachteile eines alten Hauses (wenn ich mich recht entsinne, sagte Stefanie es wäre nun schon gut 500 Jahre alt), etwas hellhörig zu sein. ABER dies hat mich in keinster Weise gestört, da sich an die Nachtruhe gehalten wurde (ich denke mal, Partybanden verirren sich dort nicht hin).

Stefanie ist eine tolle Gastgeberin. Sei es, bis auf das Brot einer lokalen Bäckerei, das komplett hausgemachte Frühstück. Inklusive allem was man sich wünscht (toller Kaffee, fantastisch hausgemachter Joghurt und Marmeladen) oder dem familiären Flair. Man merkt das es Ihre Berufung und Leidenschaft ist, den Gästen das Gefühl zu geben, zu Hause zu sein. Oder besser gesagt: Man hat nicht das Gefühl, sondern man ist Zuhause ;-).

Ich hoffe ich darf dort nochmal nächtigen, und wünsche vorne Grüsse.
