Hotel Dontenville

The hotel is very quaint in a particular way. The communal
areas are probably considered traditional meanwhile our
room was modern and comfortable. We were on the 2nd
floor so the stairs were a bit difficult as my wife had hurt
her foot but they are very wide and easily accessible. The
overall experience is very welcoming
The bedroom was of adequate size for my wife, myself
and our dog with sufficient furniture to be comfortable
The bed was quite large and comfortable
The bathroom was very small but everything we needed
was present, everything was functional and the shower
was super.
The room and bathroom were squeaky clean
We ate in the restaurant which, again, has a beautiful
atmosphere. The food was excellent, I can only
recommend eating here
Our dog was also accepted without any problems
whatsoever, the owners are also dog lovers

An amazing place. The staff were 💯 great, the room. Clean and large. The Bathroom clean and large. Breakfast was amazing with cheese, cold cuts and baguette on the table with coffee and juice.

Very good place to rest while driving across Europe. Super owner, who personally takes good care of you. Enjoy a meal at the restaurant, dishes are delicious and well priced. It should be at least a 3-star hotel, not 2. For me, it became a must stop.

We spent a very good time there. The owners are nice and friendly. The place is warm and welcoming.

We had dinner in the restaurant, the food was delicious. The café alsacien is just perfect! We also enjoyed the breakfast.

It's a 2 star hotel. But restaurant, service and value for money is over the top.
Price for the rooms are cheap, price for menu are fair, location are super and staff are very friendly.
I have found my goto place in Alsace.

We had dinner at the restaurant. Warm and welcoming staff, delicious traditional Alsatian fare, in a beautiful old building full of character. A little gem.

Wonderful service, fantastic regional cooking and stylish smart rooms. All in a beautiful Alsace town.

Lieu très bien tenu. Le patron très sympa et son personnel très avenant. Nous y retournerons volontiers. Le cadre est réellement Alsacien et charmant. Les repas sont copieux et de qualité. Merci tout simplement.

Sehr schönes Hotel tolles Ambiente. Die Leute sind sehr sehr nett. Das Essen war super lecker. Die Zimmer sind sehr einfach aber picobello sauber. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis für die Zimmer ist top. Kann im Restaurant den Elsass Burger empfehlen.

Sehr schönes Kleine Hotel im klassisch französischen Stil. Saubere Zimmer mit der angemessener Ausstattung. Das Hotel liegt zentral in einem hübschen, romantischen Elsass Städtchen mit viel Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Der Ort hat zur Nahversorgung alles zu bieten.

Superbe Petit hôtel dans le style et la déco, à l'Alsacienne. Beaucoup de petits détails et objets alsaciens du siècle dernier. Le patron et le personnel très accueillant. Le restaurant avec ses spécialités alsaciennes.....

Un accueil très chaleureux et authentique d'un petit village historique bonne cuisine,nos amis les chiens sont acceptés dans les chambres,une très bonne occasion de pouvoir discuter avec les anciens du village avec un bon picon bière

Hotel typique, un vrai musée! Décoration très sympa et un accueil souriant. Les chambres sont sympas et les salles de bains un peu exiguës mais on s'en sort largement. Le repas du soir était délicieux et le petit déjeuner très généreux ! Nos vélos ont été acceptés avec plaisir.

Excellent accueil, le patron et son équipe sont très sympathiques. La salle de restaurant est agréable et nous avons très bien mangé, je recommande le jarret de porc, un vrai bonheur. Le petit déjeuner était très bien. La chambre était très correcte et nous avons bien apprécié la clim, un vrai plus.

Très bel hôtel restaurant traditionnel. Super emplacement pour faire le tour des châteaux.

Les plats du restaurant sont un régal. Le déjeuner y est gourmant.
De quoi passer un séjour dans une ambiance 100% alsacienne. Bravo aux gérants

J'ai passé juste une courte nuit dans cet hôtel très sympathique, comme le personnel, avec un charme certain et une propreté digne d'un palace.
Literie et confort très satisfaisants. Parking à 2 pas, petit déjeuner à tarif raisonnable et suffisamment copieux.
Je recommande.
