Best price-quality restaurant we’ve been to in France. The food was absolutely delicious, perfectly executed, great quality ingredients and the wines were lovely as well. We ordered all started, an entree, main and dessert, and all dishes were bang on. We will definitely come back here.

The real thing. HIGHLY recommend this fabulous restaurant in a delightful village. Not borderline kitsch as some of the neighbouring villages and their just ok restaurants. This experience is the epitome of the Gaillac region in terms of food, honesty and wine. Service was brilliant.

We had a delicious dinner on Saturday 29th October, the restaurant was decorated for Halloween and looked great. The waiters were very friendly and efficient. The food was delicious and good value for money. Thanks for a great night.

Warm, cosy and a great ambiance. The staff are very welcoming and the food is superb. What more would you want on a dark November evening. Excellent value too. Looking forward to going back soon.

Amazing! I had a dinner there twice with my friends, who live nearby. The first time (several years ago) was very good, the second time (just two days ago) was truly wonderful, every single bit of it! Sophisticated food, excellent combination of different tastes, quite artistically arranged... And wine (recommended by a waiter) was perfect. The service was very friendly and relaxed (the waiter was very busy, but managed to look after us very efficiently and having occasional friendly chat with us). Yes, I had the best dinner EVER... And I will be back... :-)

Lovely setting in a beautiful village. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Selected the menu, with a very tender fish starter accompanied by a lovely citron puree, samphire and picked vegetables, and then duck with apricots for the main. While the courses were small they were rich in flavour so you left very satisfied with the meal. I will definitely visit again if I am in the area.

Excellent restaurant. We have been going there over ten years when visiting family and we love it. The chef cooks amazing food and he even does gluten free food when informed in advance. This evening he even made me profiteroles even though they were not on the menu, they are just something I have there every time we go. The waiter's are nice and friendly and try and help as and when they can. The English is not good but they still try and help you.
Would recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Our visit to the place on 1 October (Tuesday) 2019 was simply outstanding!By chance in the afternoon we met a French-American woman at some chateau with whom we shared our frustrations of not being able to find a local restaurant for delicious dinner.For a few evenings luck had never been on our side. The woman kindly provided us with the restaurant address and all what we expected to get was ' just a nice dinner for four'.We - 3 Canadians and 1 Japanese arrived early, but were kindly invited in before 19:00 and were offered prompt service. The atmosphere and surroundings immediately brought the inspiration and added to the collective excitement. However, when the ordered plates began to arrive, we all descended into the silence and dissolved in our palates! The quality of the meal was simply magical and the presentation was equally superb! The biggest surprise to all happened at the very end, with the bill which amounted to only 160 Euros. We thought it was unreal. It is still a mystery to us why such a gourmet jewel was created in a tiny village, unknown to many. BTW, the only comparable dinner, this time for two, after travelling in Occitanie for over a month, my husband and I had at the fabulous restaurant at Blue Radisson Hotel, next to the Blagnac airport  with the total for 125 Euros. In conclusion, it was a privilege and honour to be hosted and looked after at Restaurant Bernard Gisquet - Lou Cantoun,  we will remember that for life.

Amazing restaurant run by passionate people, the food was incredible and the restaurant overlooks a beautiful landscape. We came back to eat here 3 times in our short vacation in the lot. An absolute must
