L'Abbaye de Villeneuve

We had the most amazing time at the Abbaye de Villeneuve as we were spending one night around Nantes when driving from Brittany to South of France. The service was amazing, the rooms beautiful, and we got to enjoy the beautiful swimming pool. The breakfast was also delicious.

Excellent place for a stay or just to enjoy a meal. The staff is super kind and the restaurant La brasserie is excellent. A great relation price-quality.

Loved our 2 night stay here. Beautiful hotel, rooms were spotless and decorated to a high standard. Staff were nothing but excellent and professional. The swimming pool was a lovely touch.

Amazing place and food, if you’re looking for a typical french escape, it’s the place to go.

I just spend 3 nights at this place and it was simply great. The rooms are very stylish and very comfortable (albeit a bit small and there’s no desk to work on) and super clean.

The food is nice and served with attention to small details.

The best however is the staff! I was greeted by Lucia at reception who was not only very friendly, but also made sure I knew all the ins and outs about Nantes. Driver Maxim took me to and from work with a smile and a lot of professionalism. And at the end of the day there was Guillaume making the best “old fashioned” cocktail that I’ve had in a long time. The camaraderie amongst the staff is great and by far it’s the best asset if this hotel.

Excellent! Loved everything. Special thanks to the young, female cocktail bartender. Compared to a lot of deluxe hotels in the Loire valley, this one is easy to get to without a car as it is only a 15 min taxi ride from Nantes.

Great hotel, very nice restored abbaye with respect for the orinal building. The bar is amazing. Rooms are spacy, clean and original. Staff is very professional, friendly and helpfull, making it a luxary experience. Probably the best hotel I stayed in.

Nous avons passé deux nuits dans ce magnifique lieu. Nous sommes spécialement venus pour le restaurant gastronomique et que dire à part que tout était parfait : l’hôtel est fantastique tant par le personnel que par le lieu en lui même, la chambre est magnifique et le service impeccable 😊
Et concernant le restaurant gastronomique : si vous souhaitez déguster un ensemble de plats délicieux, intelligents et réfléchis n’hésitez pas, le service était juste fantastique, nous avons passe un fabuleux moment.. le chef touche l’excellence!
Nous avons aussi profité de la brasserie pour un déjeuner, et c’est un sans faute également 😊 les petits déjeuner au top aussi !

Nous avons séjourné à l'hôtel et dîné à la brasserie le soir. Nous avons passé un excellent moment. Maxime qui nous a accueillit à été réellement formidable. L'ensemble du personnel est souriant et au petits soins, quel bonheur. Le repas était excellent ainsi que le petit déjeuné. Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute et recommandons à 100% ce lieu plein de charme, calme, élégant et chaleureux.

Excellent moment passé dans ce lieu magnifique. Nous y sommes allés pour dîner au restaurant l'épicurien et c'était divin ! De très bons plats, très bonne présentation avec un accueil et un service digne du lieu. Nos compliments au chef ainsi qu'au reste de l'équipe. Merci pour ce moment très agréable.
